We are being reminded frequently in the natural and in the spiritual that our action today is less about ourselves but in training and preservation for the next generation.
Spiritually to make known their security, identity, purpose and bring to a place of freedom .
Nurturing requires relationship and a parenting spirit to journey and mentor alongside and raise up. To be in other’s lives, to like family share in vulnerability.
There is a price to pay. The price of dying to self and becoming import Christ like. It requires maturity and patience not to prostitute ourselves to the world and go for comfort.
There is sobriety in taking up a cross to be challenged to rescue others when we may feel broken. God will provide the necessary mantles, anointing and strength as and when.
God will especially bless those places that are family and community orientated. Love will cover a multitude of sins. Christ keeps coming lower and lower to meet us in our humility.
The kingdom on earth that has not yet been established is ready to be birthed as the earth cries out in labour pangs.
“For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.”
Different mind sets and entrepreneurial projects relative to “Thy kingdom come” will set us free.
“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”
Yes we are seeking a harvest, the fruit, the products but first there must be the establishment of of the root and the tree in the heart. The creation of a culture that will look different and which will bring forth, produce, amazing fruit.
It hinges on how close we can be to build this temple. What are the building blocks of God’s kingdom? Jesus is the corner stone and the foundations lie in love in family and community. All of us in each other’s space.
