“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
Many of us are guilty of a tendency to make God in our own image rather than making ourselves in His.
To partner with Him from His throne we require a liberating and a redefining. We have never needed a wise church more than now.
We look to the Holy Spirit to expose our false thinking and to reform us to the image of God. In the west we have a complacency in our comfort zone that belies the reality that suffering and glory come from the same cup.
Too many throw faith away with exposure to suffering instead of it cementing even firmer foundations in yet another deeper depth of understanding.
Knowing truth sets us free for a new era.
God’s goal is not to keep people happy but for them to wrestle with Him to a new revelation. Our wrestling to create in us new beings.
God is jealous for us. He demands we let go of cultural prejudices and false beliefs and pick up more of His truth.
If He condoned and backed us where we are He would exhibit impotency. He is an all knowing God of infinite wisdom. He transforms us.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
When we see Glory we reflect what we see. We become the beacons for others to see by.
What we mirror determines our image bearing capacity. Encountering more relates to the degree we contend to reflect and have expectation over greater power, signs and wonders to be released.
Transformation and metamorphosis is and will be the sign more wonderful than any other manifestation in any other revival.
Christ was the living image of an invisible God. We will radiate God’s mysticism. In union with God nothing remains obscured.
Whilst protecting what has gone before we endorse it by moving forward. Glory to glory.
Religion is the ultimate in procrastination only living for the next life.
Jesus is standing in front beckoning us to build a house of God for now. Jesus as the foundation. Do not procrastinate.
“According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
There is a magnitude in this hour. Building upon the rock and no longer sitting as mourners but as those to birth new life.
“When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.”
The immature era finishes. Words will have the power to cut and restore life. None of us are absolved from this responsibility.
God makes good what He promises. Promises are fulfilled. We are all United and have need of each other. Hearts as one.
Our lives collide with the omnipresent. Obstacles scatter and solutions reveal God’s power. The author and perfecter of our lives. The God who knows.
“looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
God will have His kingdom built and it will be His way.
The illustration shows us seeing in the mirror dimly but we move forward to seeing and reflecting Wisdom, Jesus’ image more clearly with the light emanating and pushing back the darkness.
Five Scriptures that come to mind:
