“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.“
Good because it fulfilled His purpose not mine.
Only Christ and the Holy Spirit know and can lead in fulfilling His purpose they build His kingdom and His house.
We look to the former Glory of Christ’s ministry and the early church of Acts both of which were truly Spirit led and God’s building with His multiplication, provision and resourcing.
We see that through history increasingly it has become man led with self provision and resourcing.
The outcome has been the temple that has been self obsessed and lacking in obedience. The house not worthy of its creator.
Now we are being positioned to pioneer. Go where no other has been and so totally into what as yet is unknown!
“You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall clear out the old to make way for the new.”
The old has not been bad but it does not compare to the new that is now arriving for us. Just as when Jesus cleared out the temple with great zeal. He was consumed, eaten up, by the passion of His emotion for the under valuing of the house of God.
“His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.”
The emotion that caused the action has reference from psalm 69.
The house of the Lord is no longer a building. We are the house of the Lord with emotions connecting us to God’s emotion and connecting us with His heart for this season.
It is revelation of His blue print not our own ideas ghosting the past. He has new mantles for each and a new Holy generation to host.
Our starting point is just to be real. To stand in a place of truth.
That place has the sound of a groan of birthing and a roar of zeal that connects and consumes us at the moment.
The new sound of the heart beat and rhythm is breaking out.
The illustration shows the new sound, rhythm and Heart beat emanating the light that pushes back the darkness.
Four Scriptures that come to mind:
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.”Romans 8:28-30 ESV
“You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall clear out the old to make way for the new.”Leviticus 26:10 ESV
“His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.””John 2:17 ESV
“For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.”Psalm 69:9 ESV
