BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 473 ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

‘Do not fear’ appears 365 times in the bible.

Fear should not bind us as grave clothes do. We are called out of the grave by Jesus just as Lazarus was.

He instructs friends to unbind us and break us free from anxiety. Our faith unlocks the door to joy and freedom.

“The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

It takes bravery to appear in soiled smelly grave clothes in front of our friends, brothers and sisters but just as Lazarus we must obey the command to come out.

To be transparent regarding what we may feel shame or guilt over and want to hide.

We are called to be risk takers and leave behind what was before to follow Jesus.

We naturally want to show our best side to others. To expose our truth, our vulnerability releases us from what binds us into a new life of purity.

Others are part of our freedom. As we are part of freedom for others.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”

Not only do we release our baggage but we enable the honesty of others to do likewise.

We give the opportunity to both give and receive love.

We all harbour pain and can be those who bear others and allow others to bear our own.

Drawing closer to one another automatically draws us closer to our Father and elevates us to closer proximity not by deserving but by uniting.

Becoming the one body.

Fear is neither our portion or our inheritance. Love washes away all fear.

We are Spirit first and foremost, not alone but connected in that realm and need not fear.
God is in control and we dwell in the Father’s house.

The illustration shows Jesus with burning eyes and tears calling us back to life. His light emanating and pushing back death and the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭27:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.””‭‭John‬ ‭11:44‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬
