“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
The remnant are being released. Those who are ready to partner with the Holy Spirit. We are on the cusp of the era of real signs and miracles being abundantly declared.
God is the greatest showman of powers and wonders. Jesus walk on earth demonstrated that. Not with the pride of a showman in the natural but as the servant redeeming what has been lost to those in need.
What began in Acts has been prophesied as the way of the community in the end times.
Moses drew upon a demonstration of God’s wonders in the courts of Pharaoh but Joel suggests that the wonders in heaven will be bigger than we can imagine in his prophesy which concludes.
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.”
The wind of the Spirit has a violent, shifting potential as it moves in power throughout communities corporately who are gathering together.
He has moved from the gentle to a stirring wildness. We are called to stand firm and courageously.
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
A definitive letting go of the old which was good in its season to take hold of the new as it emerges.
Our honouring, valuing and loving of each other a glue that binds us together.
We are no longer adjoined by paper affiliation to denominations but by United hearts.
Our love for one another pouring out into wider community. The tide that has gone out is on the brink of the turn . There is an expectancy of the incoming wave to get ready for.
The remnant has this expectation of what they sense is to unfold. The remnant shows up and remains faithful. The remnant has strength and power. This is our time.
Prodigals will return over night. God has not forgotten our own flesh and blood.
He will never be out done. He is generous and will flood out for all that we have poured in.
“and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.”
Ahead will be tumultuous. It will be in Christ’s strength of mind. Expectation will arise as we look beyond the parameters of the normal.
He will accomplish more than we could dream of.
