What is going on in you determines what happens around you.
As believers we are not lead by the world and what is physically happening but by Christ who is within us.
Relating everything to Him enables us to have wisdom and move sensitively and positively in our lives. Allows us to be a changer of atmospheres a beacon in other’s darkness.
God announces what He is going to do before He does it. We are given the opportunity to respond and be ready and therefore be aligned and move with Him not against.
The floor is the door, yielding and surrendering to Him. Prayer is the power, our thanksgiving and interceding.
We sense right now being caught up in something much bigger than ourselves or our community. There is a sense of all other agendas being insignificant to what God is preparing us for.
God’s purposes to be released and unlocked in a way that as yet we do not fully understand because of its newness. No cognitive approach can therefore cut it only the intuition and eyes of the heart can sense it.
What God sees in the macro has to be outworked in the micro together. We stand in awe and expectation. Anticipating a victory.
A culture of grace and thanksgiving is what enables us to take hold of what He says we are and have in His word and apply it and become alive in it.
The battle is in our minds where the enemy attacks with the opposite of what is. With negativity.
God’s word and truth is powerful, transforms and renews. His way is the right highway that the enemy tries to deflect us from.
We take captive that which doesn’t come from Christ and are enabled to live as victors and not victims in our thinking.
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he”
The life we live is a reflection of what we think and how we think. An example being if we think we can’t we probably can’t or won’t. If we think we can we probably can and will.
Life comprises of a series of choices. We can overcome by realigning .
Becoming so overwhelmed by God that we are not overwhelmed by life.
Starting the day burdened with worries and anxiety it will be negative. Started with casting our cares onto Him to handle we are liberated to be positive.
Starting with an expectation of a tough day and no time to get everything done will cast our spirit down. Starting with praise and thankfulness that we know Jesus will give all that we need to get through the day. That He will undertake our challenges and our spirit is lifted high.
Starting with self image and pride and concern for what others think we will feel as if we fall short. Starting with affirming the truth of our identity as God says we are and that we only have to steward well and serve others, not climb above, then we relax into acceptance and rest.
What we think matters and reflects into our lives. Once we recognise a negative stronghold we can transform and defeat it.
We only defeat what we define.
Thanking God builds us up and we find what He says about and for us in His word. Our prayers don’t have to be asking for things that He has already gifted us with and promised. Our prayers can be positive and thankful for these instead of needy as if we have not.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,”
Taking hold of His promises and blessings cuts off the lies of the enemy.
The Holy Spirit confirms what we say and convicts us with more revelation inside us which comes alive in our lives. The overflowing of this defines what can convince others too.
Taking hold of the truth from scripture and applying it is frequently the opposite of what could be going on in our mind left untouched.
The positive is God is good. Negative comes from the enemy.
The illustration shows the life we reflect into the world being that which comes from Christ within emanating a light that pushes back the darkness.
