“There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”
The full Spirit of the Lord rested upon Jesus even incarnate as a man because He feared and waited upon God the Father.
He did what He saw and said what He heard His Father do and say.
“So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.”
“For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.”
Just as Jesus waited upon His Father and was invested in by the Spirit so it is with us and will become more so the requisite for the whole body of the church in this time.
“How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”
It is not a time for presumptive action but for Spirit led action steered by The Spirit of the Lord. Only then will what we do and say be right, be in God’s Will.
“Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.”
In cooperation with heaven.
Heaven where the light and love is shed over all the supernatural seven fold parts of the Spirit of the Lord and the fullness of power prevails.
Our modern day church by enlarge has felt the presence of The Spirit but because of our waning fear, in awe and wonder, we have only limited wisdom, revelation and understanding, council, might as signs and miracles, knowledge.
It is the restoration of the fullness of the 7 Spirits which are desperately needed now and therefore the time that God is preparing us for.
Seven being representative as the complete and perfect number.
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!”
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
“The fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.”
When there is a reverential fear and respect for the Lord the church comes alive and relevant as was portrayed in Acts where wonder signs and miracles were a trademark of those filled with the Spirit and faith multiplied and a harvest ripened.
“And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things. Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico. None of the rest dared join them, but the people held them in high esteem. And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them.”
Angelic activity is magnified amongst those who fear the Lord.
“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.”
Together all these things bring reconciliation and show the great need for us to pray for and be submitted to to inject this back into our church, culture, community.
When we wait upon the Lord as Jesus did upon His Father.
The illustration shows Jesus the lamp stand of the Seven fold Spirit whose power will bring a multitude to harvest. His Light emanating to push back the darkness.
