Each of us form a Cluster and we each like a jigsaw puzzle fit together to convey the picture. We have importance converging together.
“Thus says the Lord: “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and they say, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, and not destroy them all.”
The gathering together in one accord has significance in scripture.
“All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.”
The waiting in prayer and awaiting the time and coming of power was an instruction necessary before the church was birthed.
“And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high”
The waiting for a promise but not knowing what to expect exactly or how it will manifest is equally similar for us now waiting for the new as it was for the upper room disciples waiting.
“wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptised with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Finally there was a suddenly when what they were waiting for happened and the result of what happened to the few expectant waiters impacted multiples more.
“When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.”
This outpouring of the Holy Spirit had never been experienced or witnessed before. It was therefore beyond all imagining.
We appear to be in the awaiting now for the promise prophesied by Joel for another suddenly and outpouring.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; “
That we have received the early rain and outpouring that we give praise for but that it is now latter day and a Cloud Burst of New is our prayer. That we longingly await and have the expectation of the promise of a good God to have pending.
“Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given the early rain for your vindication; he has poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain, as before.”
That move we await being the move that will bring light to the darkness and revive our church and bring the celebration of the great harvest.
God says that He will pour out His Spirit on all.
“in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,”
It will be on His terms to demolish what has been our structure and restructuring what is His.
Ours will be to have the eyes to see and ears to hear as He hovers over and the heart to receive as He bursts forth. Be the new wineskins compliant to expand capacity.
The illustration shows God hovering over like an eagle making ready to move and pour out the Holy Spirit like a cloud burst. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
