“In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. Then I said, “Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me: I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
We get up in the morning singing in the rain. We get up in the morning full of joy in our heart. We go to bed fulfilled and at peace.
Because we are living a life full of God.
We are filled up and are running on the fuel of love. He permeates our soul. He is worthy of our praise.
Jesus is worthy of the praise of each one of us on earth.
Not a single one of us is worthy of having another fall at our feet, on their knees, to worship us but Jesus is.
As storm clouds come we can walk in joy because He abides in our hearts.
Worshipping should not run off us and not soak in to water our soul.
We know what we have need of best when we also know our purpose, our destiny, our call, our identity.
It unfolds before us. Connecting the dots we form the picture and whilst our picture always folds out before us the connected dots behind make sense of it.
In that alone we have to look back to know what goes forwards. The Holy Spirit takes us on a journey of discovery.
When we have purpose we can ask for strategies to move forwards on the correct path. We sense the empowering intersections where destiny and purpose cross our sense of gifting and calling .
There is recognition of the leaping of the Spirit inside just as when John the Baptist leapt in his mother’s womb at the news of Jesus was to be born of Mary.
A knowing of what we were wired and made for even before it maps out.
“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.”
In the absence of purpose time has no precision. There is an additional clarity when we are in sight of a goal. We delight in doing what God wills.
“Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me: I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”
Purpose puts Jesus in the centre. It is frequently bigger than we feel capable of , overwhelming because it can only be done in Christ.
Our part is in saying “yes” and feeling the Holy Spirit leap within us to endorse it.
Choices we make have an effect on our God given purposes.
If we are living in sin we have a tendency to wander aimlessly and are going round in circles until we have addressed it.
God has created us for joy so there is an excitement about our right choices. We feel fulfilled in our lives when we are in our purpose.
“And I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun”
When we feel stuck it is often a sign that we need purpose and lack direction and a goal. We feel driven and fuelled up to overflowing with purpose.
There are however times of wandering that are necessary for our discovery of wisdom and a purpose.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
The moment of revelation and illumination can often come about through moments of reading the Word.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Our gifting and ministry is often in what we are already good at, what makes us tick, what we love. It is what we are passionate about.
God sets us up for success not for failure. God leads us for His name sake.
When we have beauty and value we are attractive and exhibit His glory. He brings the best out of us naturally with no performance.
It keeps on flowing and giving. From glory to glory. Our best is yet to come.
The illustration shows the precious beauty and value of our gifts and purpose. Emanating Light that pushes back the darkness.
