“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.”
Now is a season not just for contending for ourselves personally but corporately in ever widening circles.
Now is not a time for holding on and pegging everything down but for catching hold and running with.
Now is not the time for running in any direction but it is as if God’s eyes are casting over seeking out those who are moving and going in the right direction of following the Holy Spirit and not the world.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”
A time of auditing, of judging how to restore.
“But the multitude of your foreign foes shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the ruthless like passing chaff. And in an instant, suddenly, you will be visited by the Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.”
There has to be a dividing, a tearing down ready to build up. The two links to be brought together in this time to be the strong links in the chain being the prophetic and apostolic. Together to form the capsule from which the anointing oils can pour out.
The pandemic years have embedded us in the conviction that we are still static and battling and we are tempted to continue but in fact the fog of it has blurred the clarity of vision to see that we have moved forward and are in the next season.
It is time to put God’s weightiness on the foundations underfoot and to see if they are weight bearing or made of glass that will fragment.
Our feet need to be firmly upon what will sustain the Glory He is ready to release.
“My Spirit remains in your midst. Fear not. For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’’
It is scriptural that death is a portal for life.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
