“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”
We are increasingly being made aware of our position of authority at this time.
Just as the government was laid on Jesus’ shoulders so will it be upon ours who have the Holy Spirit indwelling.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
The Holy Spirit is impressing upon us to increase our government. To speak out. To own His uniform and wear it’s authority well bringing things to order and protection and reach the lost.
There is like the anointing strength of three: God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit within us. Incorporated into the Trinitarian the mantle we wear is not a heavy yoke.
“Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.””
In these days of uncertainty there are doors of opportunity.
We have felt as if we have wanted to hibernate and hide in our cave. Felt under attack and possibly at a loss.
“When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were hard pressed), the people hid themselves in caves and in holes and in rocks and in tombs and in cisterns,”
It is now the time to emerge strengthened and ready to slip under the shoulders that are the yoke that make our labour light and from that resting place take on our authority and governance we feel we are being called to in the Spirit.
We are equipped with keys to unlock the doors of access to the kingdom.
“And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.”
To break out of what has contained us. To be released from the burdens and inertia that chains have held us by.
The Holy Spirit like the oil of WD40 penetrates us and what appeared stuck and immovable has become unstuck. The Father’s command has always been one that moves with ease and lightness.
We must not offend the Holy Spirit by being ashamed of Him whatever He leads us into.
The illustration shows God’s shoulders as the load bearing yoke along with those of Christ and the Holy Spirit within us. The triple strength we rest within in our governance and authority in the world. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
