“But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;”
The hand of God is discrediting world power from every angle and every system. Daily more are being put to shame and showed up for what they represent in governance, politics, business, entertainment, leadership and more.
Choices in use of power, morals and righteousness are being brought to shame, to light, to be toppled. To be shown up as in league with wrongness and darkness.
The world are being brought to a place of seeking for what is right and Light to grasp on to.
God is once again shaming world power.
The question is how much have we as individuals and the church put our trust in these failing systems too.
We have to stand stronger in our position of being the light as the house of God, the people of His kingdom who can be called to transform society.
This is a season of great toppling and shaking but equally of great potential if we become and sustain being the shining lights He needs us to be.
We witness what is like a domino effect every day of what appears to be yet something or someone else being discredited. The escalation of frequent turn over of leadership and supposedly the elite and educated sinking in corruption.
There is a desperation in the world crying out for who can they put their trust in any more? That God wants to topple whole systems not just individuals is becoming increasingly apparent.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
Righteousness has left the building therefore sin has gained a stronghold. We as a church body with Christ as the head must be squarely seated and not just clinging on.
We have to be Christ to replicate and mirror Him. If we reflect any other it is not good. What is sown is what is reaped.
Jesus will be the only leader to rule His kingdom with complete integrity, discretion and bring back unity and the moral compass so desperately lacking.
“and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
“When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.”
There is a call to come up to God’s realm and perspective and see that there is only one worthy and worth following.
“The Lord looks down in love, bending over heaven’s balcony. God looks over all of Adam’s sons and daughters, looking to see if there are any who are wise with insight— any who search for him, wanting to please him.”
The Lord is scattering nations and leaders and systems because of sin. We are in a period of news cycles where we spectate with horror and disappointment.
“And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
What is our potential has to be birthed into action and fulfilled.
What He has invested in us as His people has to be put into action.
“I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already ablaze with fiery passion for God!”
We must not squander the potential in this season. We need to be those who set the standards that become compelling. A time to restore and revive. A time to rise and shine.
“that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,”
The world awaits the wisdom to know where to put its trust in again?Who to follow? How to restore law and order.
“A rebellious nation is thrown into chaos, but leaders anointed with wisdom will restore law and order.”
We speak into the context of what God is doing in the big picture and see that, His hand is always over each of us always but that, there is far more in play in this season.
The illustration shows God’s hand reaching out to the world. To save it from corruption, shame and darkness. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
