BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 544 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

There has always been pain in God’s heart that there is separation and warfare. It broke out in heaven before creation when Satan broke relationship due to his ego.

The consequence has been that because of God’s love for us we have free will to chose who’s side to take.

His, where we submit ourselves to His kingdom and to love Him and others above ourselves, or Satan’s and the world of self serving and ambition.

A rebellion that begins a spiritual battle and a warfare that has always been in the spiritual realm and has been inflicted in creation to continue in the natural.

It will not be fully resolved until Satan is restrained in hell. Albeit that the victory of the cross and resurrection defeated death and Satan and brought us redemption.

“For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”

Our lives demonstrate that there is a choice and that the clash of kingdoms is the norm.

At this time it is tangible that there is an intensification of hostility in the world and conflicts between all factions, especially in governance and nations there are rumours of wars and wars.

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.”

There is a strong sense that as God is moving and advancing to bring order that satan is on the defensive to maintain chaos and has delegated power to a spirit of Leviathan known to bring chaos pride, confusion, by twisting everything, into the equation.

“In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.”

We can track in scripture where the sea is synonymous with chaos and evil, blackness and confusion.

“The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

God created order from chaos and set boundaries of land and sea in the natural and spiritual.

“And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse.

And it was so. And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.”

When the world and its inhabitants became so dark and in sin He eliminated it with flood waters to hold chaos at bay. Supernatural holes in the atmosphere opened up and waters came up from the deep and so He undid what He had done earlier to hold the sea in it’s boundaries. His promise in the rainbow was to never use chaos against us again.

“In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.”

When the Red Sea was held back by Moses’ staff God was eliminating chaos and Rahab and the dragon reference Leviathan again. Chaos is repelled so that the children of Israel can step into their new place of order.

“Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon? Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?”

In these examples speaking to chaos to push it back is modelled to bring back order and stability.

Jesus speaks, as if to a person, but addressing the sea, to be still. Again as if the sea equates with chaos.

“And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”

Jesus walks on the sea when things were against those in the boat.

“And he saw that they were making headway painfully, for the wind was against them. And about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. He meant to pass by them,”

In psalms it refers to God trampling on the sea as if to stamp out chaos.

“who alone stretched out the heavens and trampled the waves of the sea;”

In Daniel’s dreams his warning of chaos is that there are beasts that come out of the sea.

David was overwhelmed by torments of chaos that made him feel worthless and in an atmosphere of destruction and hostility making him always suspicious of others.

“I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. “For the waves of death encompassed me, the torrents of destruction assailed me;”

There is a need to bind chaos in our personal atmosphere if it inverts God’s order and purpose.

It is warfare to bring order over our minds and lives to not be overwhelmed by chaos.

In Revelation there is a reference to the sea being there no more.    No more chaos or waves of death.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”

God’s moves may be like whirlwinds to shake and shift but He desires order not chaos in His creation and created.

The illustration shows speaking into the seas of chaos and darkness. The light emanating to push back the darkness.
