“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. “
Though we, the church, the Nations are in confusion, we who know Christ, have an unshakable hope in God and we remain steadfast.
When God steps and speaks into chaos we can expect the brightest and best, the miraculous especially within the church body. God shows His side and His power.
The fear melts as we see the discrediting of leaders and systems in the world. The wars or rumours of war, God prophesied will come. He also gave hope that though expected we should not be alarmed He has it in hand.
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.”
He will navigate what He has already known as victory. He is in control and is not phased by the chaos generated by social media and satellite communication. The chaos generated in loss of identity in personality, gender and mentality that we also see spreading.
“The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; he dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers.”
It is important to be rooted in His word and commands. That we remain in charge of who is in our mind. We are not victims we are saints participating and partnering in God’s victory.
We have a responsibility and overview to know where our battle is . To decree order and stop what deflects from truth. If we don’t have courage to act and speak out we know that if left, it will fester into worse.
“Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.”
God is preoccupied with what He is doing and we have opportunity to unite with His strategy and to have no part in distraction.
“I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no claim on me,”
We have to be aware of the enemies schemes so that we are not fooled or tricked by them. To be beautifully intolerant but not ignorant of what is not of God. To bring order.
“so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.”
It is by abiding in the word, letting it be like a hammer chipping into our hearts and knowing the truth that we are equipped for battle.
“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
It is in powerful prayer declaring His positive truths that we are in agreement with. It is in loosing power to cut away that which is not partnered with. It releases us to step into all that Christ has for us.
We battle spiritual warfare.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,”
We are not alone in spiritual warfare. God has multiple angels deployed to defend and protect us heaven is open and on earth.
The illustration shows the battalions of angelic wayfaring and protecting us in spiritual warfare so that what the enemy meant for evil will be diverted for good. All exposed under the spotlight of Christ and that light emanating pushing back the darkness.
