BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 549. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak on his own, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.”

The world can pressurise us into a distorted truth.  One that is far removed from that in the heart of God.

Understanding His truth brings life, fruit and abundance. It comes in having the mindset of Christ. It is the breathe of life. It is the reality of heaven.

“for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),”

God describes Himself to His people in Exodus as:

“The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,”

Truth is a person. Jesus. Definable as trustworthy, authentic, sincere, genuine. A balance of grace and mercy.

The promise of the Holy Spirit, close companion, Paraclete to come to reside within us relating the wisdom and truth of the Father and Son incorporates us into the commune of the truth is precious.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.”

The temples that were made with hard, cold stones replaced by temples soft, warm and welcoming living stones of our hearts.

Blessed Hearts that receive the intimacy and relationship opened up and offered to us.

The Holy Spirit brings conviction and becomes a doorway to freedom. He therefore draws us nearer and we adorn the garments of light in the righteousness and truth that He enables us to walk in.

The Holy Spirit, like God is now saying ‘I am what I am’.

Not perhaps as we have perceived Him in the past.

His crucial roll of peeling back the layers, the veils to expose and reveal God as truth, goodness, love, joy and so forth make Him available to us relationship wise and relevant in the world we are part of.

He also reveals to us who we are. Our identity. We have assurance that we are who He says we are because He has done it all already.

Thee truth He reveals changes how we see ourselves. How we know our core. How we then mirror and reflect Christ to the world.

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”

The illustration shows the Holy Spirit unveiling layers of truth. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak on his own, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.” ‭‭John‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),”. Ephesians‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”. ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:17-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬
