BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 551 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

We are the pinnacle of God’s love. The expanse of His love is as boundless, endless and limitless as He Himself is.

He delights in us and we taste His love as He lavishes it upon us refreshing us in our experience of it through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit enables us to experience heaven on earth. He brings it forward to the now.

“Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.”

The incomprehension of His vastness means we down size the glory of Christ in our hearts. Paul says that the revelation of the unsearchable riches of Christ brings light into the darkness.

“To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,”

Jesus is not a concept, not an ideal, not a force.

Knowing Him is bottomless and we see only the tip of the iceberg compared to the true depths. Our mental capacity is too small to comprehend. There is always more to discover.

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!”

Jesus rules and has authority over us and all the universe.

History and science are His story. We perceive it as it becomes reality.

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

There is nothing in us or the cosmos which is hidden from Him. He brings to light those things that have been hidden in the darkness and the light exposes them to order.

Even our motives are laid bare to Him. He is the most real thing in the universe.

“And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

‭‭ He is sufficient to meet our every need and to breathe new life into us.

Jesus doesn’t just help He saves us, we are all in debt to Him for the profound length He went to as we remember each time in communion.

Those of us with the more to be forgiven understand His mercy greatest. Our inflated ego can Edge God Out.

“A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?”

Jesus shares with us as a friend never servant. He shares His heart with us and desires it to be reciprocal. He draws even nearer to sinners and we have confidence in this and draw nearer to Him too.

“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

As we discover guilt it is equalled by the measure of His embrace and love . He remains by our side, not ahead or disconnected.

Since ascending to heaven He has been in constant intercession for us. There is no condemnation or ignorance of our needs.

“Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”

He tells us of His own heart: : “I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

We have no queue to gain His attention. Nothing drives Him further away in fact as we anguish about our sin or unworthiness He is drawn closer to comfort us.

The illustration shows a gentle lowly Jesus embracing us in love as if each were the only one in His heart. Love emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
