“Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright.”
It is not a time to look solely upon what is being seen. It is a time of looking deeper into, of going to the back door and discovering what really is exposed.
The narrative that comes from the Lord is the one to navigate by.
The sun has gone down on the West and is to arise in the East. A phenomenon of each day for us but now in God’s focus spiritually.
Africa and Asia arising and Western powers diminishing.
Waves caused on one side of water will have a wave ripple effect that moves across it.
What has been lost one side can be retrieved on the opposite. A game ends the cards are reshuffled for a new game.
“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion!”
As the sky gets darker the star will shine brightest and our body the church is called to raise and be that light.
“we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
There are things that have to happen on earth to reset God’s plans and timings. By being in step with the Holy Spirit we align with what to pray for so that we do not pray against God’s will.
We fight not against flesh but against principalities. We look not at what we see but at what lies behind.
“as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
There are things that have to happen on earth. It has to be. It cannot be avoided. We can intercede for speed and the least casualty in the crisis.
God provides angelic armies to combat and minister to minimise disaster for those who belong to Him.
“And as they brought them out, one said, “Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away.” And Lot said to them, “Oh, no, my Lords. Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die.”
We have authority when we stand in God’s word in obedience. It is not mankind we should hate but the evidence of the enemies behaviour.
God always has what is need. He can turn things around, can hide, can blind, can mystify.
We always have the head and never the tail within our grasp. We have righteous expectation that God lavishes upon us. We have power and authority to speak action into being not just to be those who have only an involuntary response to circumstance.
“so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
God has a bigger picture in His sight than we can see behind all that happens.
What manifests in the natural realm has already happened in the spiritual realm.
We can give thanks and praise because we already have the victory. We remind the enemy of our superiority and that he is already defeated.
“And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.”
We release heaven to earth in that victory. It dismantles the tribal and domination systems to be reshuffled to restore love of brother and sister dominion.
What we might call a crisis is for God a strategy. A call for new to arise and be communion. To release God’s purpose.
The illustration shows the sun sinking in the west and rising in the east in the natural realm we see but equally in the spiritual realm in power. Light that pushes back the darkness.
