“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
When we elevate our perspective and don’t get stuck in the distraction of the present turmoil from the enemy we come to a place of peace and rest where we can be fed, sustained and we can renew the oil of the Holy Spirit in our lamp.
With that we are ready for battle, ready to act and ready to live in and emanating still light to push back darkness and evil.
We remain in a place of soaring above with God’s perspective under our wings and vision in our sight instead of laboriously flapping with little lift off and obstacles impeding our progression.
Being led by the Holy Spirit gives the discernment that our eyes, ears, heart and mind in the natural may not perceive.
“having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”
We have to dispel our own opinions and submit to God’s wisdom and knowledge as He reveals it to us
“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,”
It is only abiding here that we can recognise what is beyond shaking and discomfort and remain in peace and hope.
“And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.”
We are called to release hope, light and life. We can only be in the place to do this when we soar above the battle to God’s eye view.
We seem to be in a new realm of prayer. One that is consistent and continual. Prayer without ceasing.
“praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,”
When the earth is groaning our prayers are heard too in groaning or tongues that our mind may not process as we become lost in Him.
It is sometimes not until we have a real cause for prayer that we are aware of its effect.
Then our hearts are captivated by the power and our faith escalates.
We are in a time where prayer is spontaneously birthed not formally organised.
We realise a rooted need to meet with, intercede and intercession in our spirit.
A need and desire that nothing else can substitute.
The illustration shows the eagle soaring over the world with the sight and perspective of God in the spiritual realm seeing the invisible with light emanating to push back the darkness.
