BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 564 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“these are the solemn words of the Holy One, the true one, who has David’s key, who opens doors that none can shut and who closes doors that none can open: I know all that you’ve done. Now I have set before you a wide-open door that none can shut. For I know that you possess only a little power, yet you’ve kept my word and haven’t denied my name.”

God is sovereign and in authority to open and close doors both in the spiritual realm and the natural.

The key of David is a key that opens grace of intimacy and pray before the gospel was unveiled.

David had such closeness to God’s heart that he knew how to abandon himself in song dance and worship into that intimate place with God.

Each one of us is a key with a purpose to unlock something of the kingdom and of God’s heart. We come from our unique mould and yet so often we spend time trying to fit into other moulds of keys that will not unlock our specific identity and shape that God has called us to be in Christ.

David was the key and served the purpose of God in his generation and we are the keys to fit and serve His purpose in this generation, time and place.

This is why when we align with God’s purpose our ministry will follow through.

He continues to reconfigure and transform us. It is His hidden work in the secret place that remoulds us.

It is never about us.

It enables us, to with Him and for Him, fulfil our purpose in the body and kingdom that belongs to Him.

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy.”

Our journey of surrendering to The Lord matures us to a place of stepping further into His glory always.

We see answers and miracles coming out of a place of obedience, sacrifice and relationship. Not as a gifting.

It is always for the sake of others and not ourselves.

It leads to yet a deeper relationship with God and another measure of influence  for His purpose on earth met in us.

Selfless devotion to God leads us to our purpose but it is not actually about us!

There is a problem and we are part of the solution without knowing it always.

It is reminiscent of the first miracle Jesus did turning water to wine. Mary realised there was a problem of shame if the wine ran out. Jesus as yet had never performed a miracle and yet Mary knew He was part of a solution. Even Jesus said at the occasion that it was not His time yet but He was in such a close relationship with His Father that He sensed it right to go with the prompt. It would not detract from His greater purpose of salvation but in fact be a foundation and launch pad into His ministry.

The key of who He had been moulded to become fitted to open a door that in turn reshaped for more doors to be opened.

Mary had no idea what Jesus would do to resolve the shame but Jesus responded to both her and His Father relationally in Love. An example of how listening daily enables this flexibility for the best.

Our maturity transforms us to focus on others and not ourselves.

It has trained us to take control over our own moods.

To not expect perfection from others. To have patience to wait for the moments. To count the cost and pay the price for the long term good it provides, to be flexible. To recognise infallibility and that we are not always right. To see weakness and strength in ourselves and others and be tolerant towards both sides. To not be swayed by fake, false opinions. To build others up not knock them down. To stand firm in the fire and the storm. To not be thrown and cast wide but to bring together.

To unite and come together with no regard for divisions.

“And when the priests came out of the Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves, without regard to their divisions,”

Having the mind of Christ is thinking how Love thinks.

We are His body and a unique key to unlock His kingdom but we equally honour every other part and it’s unique purpose.

We focus upon our call and purpose but equally listen and are obedient to how the Holy Spirit directs us en route.

Jesus was ‘both and’ as are we.

We are not here in this world to self preserve ourselves here. Our greatest moments are in the presence of God.

Our posture never changes. We focus on Him.

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy.”

The illustration shows us as our unique purpose and key to unlock part of the kingdom. The key of David representative of our intimate relationship and prayer with God. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.”‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭22:22‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Write the following to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia, for these are the solemn words of the Holy One, the true one, who has David’s key, who opens doors that none can shut and who closes doors that none can open: I know all that you’ve done. Now I have set before you a wide-open door that none can shut. For I know that you possess only a little power, yet you’ve kept my word and haven’t denied my name.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:7-8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of rules about food and drink, but is in the realm of the Holy Spirit, filled with righteousness, peace, and joy.” Romans‬ ‭14:17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“And when the priests came out of the Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves, without regard to their divisions,”. 2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor or, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭ESV
