BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 572 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.” The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courage of Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.”

We are moved to unrestrainedly, boldly reflect God’s heart.

In Acts the early church were baptised in the HolySpirit and He brought this boldness into their lives to work the miracles and wonders in Jesus’ name that they previously had witnessed Him do in the flesh.

Despite the threats made upon them and the persecution that they encountered they were undeterred.

As they walked so will we and in so doing the plans of the enemy upon us shall be reversed and met upon him.

As they were in Esther when she in the boldness of the Holy Spirit threw the caution of whether she survived or not for what was memorably termed as “Such a time as this.”

Peter and Johns committed prayer for power was answered and displaced enemy principalities and powers.

“So now, Lord, listen to their threats to harm us. Empower us, as your servants, to speak the word of God freely and courageously. Stretch out your hand of power through us to heal, and to move in signs and wonders by the name of your holy Son, Jesus!” As they prayed the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with unrestrained boldness. All the believers were one in mind and heart. Selfishness was not a part of their community, for they shared everything they had with one another.”

Unitedly they focused and held  their gaze upon Jesus and nothing else could advance against them.

There lives became totally dedicated to those in need, in poverty, the afflicted.

Love reigned to equally provide for and benefit others and the Holy Spirit discerned their truth and honoured their honest and open hearts and enabled them to discern the hearts of others.

“Now, a man named Ananias and his wife, Sapphira, likewise sold their farm. They conspired to secretly keep back for themselves a portion of the proceeds. So when Ananias brought the money to the apostles, it was only a portion of the entire sale. God revealed their secret to Peter, so he said to him, “Ananias, why did you let Satan fill your heart and make you think you could lie to the Holy Spirit? You only pretended to give it all, yet you hid back part of the proceeds from the sale of your property to keep for yourselves.”

In their mission , Like Esther, they were past the place of fear for themselves. Selflessly they served come what ever with great rejoicing over the authority bestowed upon them to bring  heaven’s justice and the kingdom of heaven upon earth as it was originally God’s Will to be.

“The apostles left there rejoicing, thrilled that God had considered them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.”

They had the same boldness as David in God. The boldness that we too are being drawn closer to as we become more centred and focused around His presence.

“Yahweh is my revelation-light and the source of my salvation. I fear no one! I’ll never turn back and run, for you, Yahweh, surround and protect me.”

It is the place of resting in trust and assurance. Having a boldness and peace amidst surrounding troubles in the world.

“In the day of trouble, he will treasure me in his shelter, under the cover of his tent. He will lift me high upon a rock, out of reach from all my enemies who surround me. Triumphant now, I’ll bring him my offerings of praise, singing and shouting with ecstatic joy! Yes, I will sing praises to Yahweh!”

We “fear not” and set our hearts to receive all that He promises. We have faith in all that He is already victorious over.

“You stand in victory above the rest, stately and secure as you share with me your vineyard of love.”

The illustration shows our boldness of power when we fix our eyes only upon Jesus who emanates the Light that pushes back the darkness.

Seven Scriptures that come to mind:
