BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 573 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

We know that we have the same DNA as God but that we sometimes have to be undone and reassembled to make the connections relate to the proximity that we have to align with Jesus.

We don’t exactly get a clean sheet to start again because we are the product of who we have become based on our journey and past but we may require to be woven in to the picture in a new way as wisdom is revealed.

We have to remain in a place of hope and expectation even in the transitional and waiting times.

“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!”

Also the revelation may be unto aligning us with a new concept and way of regarding something that has not been our tradition, culture or way of dealing with things.

New unfolds and God prepares us successively to maybe acting in a totally different way previously alien to us.

This was the result of the unfolding of Peter’s vision of the cloth spread with unclean foods fundamental to his being entertained by Cornelius when traditionally it was deemed wrong for a Jew to mix with someone of another Nation.

Taking offence and being on the offensive is not God’s way of love .

“Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.”

God gives us opportunities to be offended to test where our heart lies.

We have to be the non offend-able  church who can rub alongside one another.

He sees our reactions and does not desire to tolerate a tepid, mixture of reactions that are not from Him but from the world platform.

Jesus is saying “come to me and I will instruct you”.

It is for Him to be judge not us. God has access to our hearts and motivation. Our lives, words and actions flow out of our hearts.

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.”

We have to draw out love not offence. Offence isn’t given it is taken. Our response. Love covers all offence if we intentionally choose it.

Our heart is the wellspring of life. The doorway from a restrictive place to an expansive one. God funnels us through the doorway to align us with Him.

What we choose to do does have significance. We are His sons and daughters who can change hearts and lives.

In alignment we can hit the target every time. Out of alignment we may be hit or miss or at worse lethal.

“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,”

Out of balance we are less effective. Our best posture is resting in Him and allowing Him to do what He wants to do. Hooked into His heart and pulled along without wavering or listing .

He entangles into loves fabric where there is no competition, comparison or striving just comfortable being.

The illustration shows Christ at the centre emanating Light. Our hearts knitted together and weaving the fabric of Love in the world. Pushing back the darkness.

Six Scriptures that come to mind:

“So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.” Acts‬ ‭10:34-35, ‭ESV‬‬

“Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.” Proverbs‬ ‭17:9‬ ‭ESV‬‬
