BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 578 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“But they understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said.”

Before His death Jesus spoke several times to his disciples about what was to come but they did not grasp what He was revealing to them.

We sense a move and happening and are bewildered in the present time and season and have to grapple to grasp what is being revealed.

We equally sense that we are or have been in a time of preparation and the requisite to be ready.

We are all responsible for our own readiness as depicted in the parable of the virgins with their lamps.

We all have been given the lamp but must be responsible for the oil being topped up and ready and not to be half ready when it comes to the moment. We have our own but cannot share it with others without.

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.”

The Holy Spirit is like our warning gauge prompting us when our oil is low or run out so that we can attend to it.

The oil is plentiful and precious but we must draw it and keep filled with it.  God gives us the Holy Spirit without measure therefore there is an abundance, enough for all.

The supplies in the Spirit are available.

The cost is a greater level of surrender and the Holy Spirit will stir up in our heart what we may need to give up or give more to. Be ready to release or take hold of.

Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

If we are feeling things to be wrong at the moment that wisdom can help us in getting prepared and not to be caught off guard for what He is doing or when He is coming.

There is work to be done and it is time to be ready.

God is faithful to Himself. Scripturally there is evidence of generations being bypassed because they were not ready.

He requires a full response from each, from us corporately.

He tests us but has also provided the script for model answers to the test to enable us always to pass and succeed.

Jesus is the bridegroom awaiting His bride to be ready to return for. He is also the one we are u tied as one as in a marriage from the moment we are born again in accepting Him into our lives.

We have to be willing to receive, to be ready and to have equipped ourselves to burn brightly and in this we like a seed have fallen to the ground and died in the darkness and have sprung up ready and alive to meet and be the light.

“that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,”

The illustration shows us postured to fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit oil within our lamp ready to burn brightly with the Light that emanates and pushes back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

““Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.” Matthew‬ ‭25:1, 3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,”. ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭ESV‬‬
