“And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,”
There is a strong sense that time has accelerated and the stage is set. That we are in the ‘now times’ of some things that we have awaited or dreamed of. That it is a time to be awake and ready not sleeping. That the ‘one day’ mentality is passed.
“Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.”
God cannot put upon us the full weight of who He is until we tremble in awe at that and transmit that.
Many are in need, in pain and in desperation for a saviour.
Man, when he is happy, does not have that need and desperation to be seeking and open and running toward faith. That which we, as Christians, can be part of the solution.
The harvest is ripe ready to be gathered now for so many reasons.
Where we have been in trials and in waiting we believe doors to be ready to open for us to be pulled through deep into a partnership with in what is within God’s heart.
In oneness we become alive, in stewarding that abundant life well; it becomes attractive to those who have felt dead and void.
It is a place of participation not spectating. A place of fusion and merging.
The divine oneness of the Trinity we become sucked up into by our ‘yes’.
“they may be one, even as we are one. “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, “
When we spectate the casualties and calamities in and around us, in our nations our world we allow ourselves to surpass what we know about right and wrong.
We allow ourselves to be caught up in God’s passionate emotion and to instinctively respond and be repulsed as we understand His hurt and heart and therefore His need for correction and justice.
“you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;”
Our disconnect, numbness and state of shut down must be startled, jolted into life to speak out and model Christ’s response and standard of holiness.
We need the heart and the mind of Christ. What we choose becomes what we become and permit.
“For as he thinks within himself, so is he. He will grudgingly say, “Go ahead and eat all you want,” but in his heart he resents the fact that he has to pay for your meal.”
We become much of what we think as it reveals our heart. The restoration of hearts of stone reforms people. Miraculous turn arounds are possible.
What we meditate on we manifest in our lives.
“Make all of this your constant meditation and make it real with your life so everyone can see that you are moving forward.”
The illustration shows the Trinity oneness that when Christ became incarnate transferred into our inclusion. Drawn into that relationship and union of hearts, light emanates that pushes back the darkness.
