BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 591 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Beware of the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. It permeates everything they do and teach, like leaven. Everything hidden and covered up will soon be exposed. For the facade is falling down, and nothing will be kept secret for long.”

“The one you must fear is God, for he has both the power to take your life and the authority to cast your soul into hell. Yes, the only one you need to fear is God.”

What we sense of God drawing our attention to implies that it is a point of need. The word that seems to cloud our eyes is cynicism. The inclination to believe in the worse with scepticism, doubt and mistrust is clouding the God sized expectation that He has.

Scepticism is like a cataract which when it is removed gives the fresh clarity of vision that was intended.

There is a need to dislocate and then relocate to correct a limping joint. Maybe a painful moment but with the promise of cure and  health and mobility regained.

The need to lift the carpet and sweep out the dirt festering underneath, hidden from sight but still a potential health hazard and stench.

“Everything hidden and covered up will soon be exposed. For the facade is falling down, and nothing will be kept secret for long. ”

God sees everything even that which we either intentionally keep hidden and secret or which we are ignorant of as existing within us.

We are being drawn ever closer into a place of having greater integrity.

The name Goliath means exposed. Our giants can be easily toppled and defeated and we can be liberated when we know and our trust is in God. As a body, a family we sometimes need one another to expose our blind spots.

God’s correction, disciplining and rebuke is part of who He is as a whole and is a beautiful evidence of His love for us not His anger.

It is necessary to ensure our growth and adjustment keeping us mailable and mouldable not hardened and calcified and stagnated in our progression.

It is part of His answer to our prayer to pour out His Spirit and presence.

“Come back to your senses and be restored to reality. Don’t even think about refusing my rebuke! Don’t you know that I’m ready to pour out my spirit of wisdom upon you and bring to you the revelation of my words that will make your heart wise?”

God’s judgement is love. He will correct us to the right way of ease. He will show anger in His kindness to correct us. It is all part of His wholeness of love never to reject but to draw closer.

His multifaceted wholeness in His one Spirit giving and disciplining.

“Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes, activates, and operates these different gifts as he chooses for each believer.”

He empowers and transforms us so that we do not destroy ourselves submitting to the wrong choices.

His double edged sword circumcises what is from the flesh and soul from what is from the Spirit.

His sights penetrate right into our motivation, our thoughts and intentions not just our visible actions and works.

God is giving us fresh eyes now, unclouded by prior contamination and scepticism.

We are increasingly being led to seeing by the Spirit.

The illustration shows the clouded vision that God is clearing. To see with fresh eyes the Truth with light emanating to push back the darkness.
