“And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.”
We are being called into the understanding of the gravitas of oneness.
The recalibration for the unity of hearts one with another for us to thrive.
We have been sensing the absolute need to be aligned with the Holy Spirit for some time but this shift is a step higher and to be joined.
A different style of navigation than before and being unfamiliar we have no landmarks to guide us on this corporate flow into oneness.
“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.”
It is a giving up of control and independence.
When we are honest with even ourselves we see we have all fallen short and have sin and lack of integrity.
So many have thought we were listening to our voice only to discover it is on occasions the voice of the enemy.
We need each other more than ever to help us to keep in check of unhealed flesh and keep accountable to God.
“And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
When pain becomes rooted we resist it by becoming numb.
We often don’t know our blind spots but together we can gently help each other to renew and correct what we have been seeing wrongly.
Ask God to make us better as we turn for His correction.
“If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.”
Correction is God’s love for us to be drawn closer and therefore something to be thankful for.
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.”
If we have no fresh sacrifice to lay upon the altar the fire in our hearts goes out for lack of kindling.
To sacrificing ourselves allows God’s fire to fall upon us afresh.
We reflect God and the kingdom in generosity. Our money, love, time , willingness to serve as one.
Jesus’ love is revealed in costliness, sacrifice and effort. He is the eternal sacrifice.
We cannot camp on yesterday’s sacrifice and choices. We have to live out today’s otherwise reap the consequences of our poor choices.
God will force His body into the bride ready to be United. Ready and therefore not humiliated in any measure.
“Otherwise, if some Macedonians come with me and find that you are not ready, we would be humiliated—to say nothing of you—for being so confident.”
God only backs His kingdom we have to be prepared to weather the storm. It takes both repentance and gratitude to remain on track.
“The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!”
We remain weathering out the storm but as one are not defeated we hold up, cling on, support one another and in familiarity and togetherness recognise without judgement each other’s weaknesses and strengths, sins and saintlinesses and recognise our reflections in each other and choose the beauty we are growing into as we grow to be in Christ together.
We all have a significance which must never be lost.
The illustration shows us in oneness supporting and being supported by our oneness. Emanating Light that pushes back the darkness.
