“For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.”
Just as Jesus was our example in His walk to the cross in submitted weakness but was resurrected in God’s power .
So are we the example of recognising our own weakness but being clothed in Christ take on His strength and power.
We can do little in our own strength and much in His. When I am weak, then I am strong. We become Jesus’ doorway between heaven and earth.
“that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,”
In this world and what surrounds us daily we have a choice to partner with fear or to choose strength by believing and trusting in Christ.
By equal token God is giving us the choice to make what is within compatible with what appears to be advertised on the outside.
No one would expect to go into a restaurant with the facade and menu for fine dining to be presented with fast cheap, minimally nutritious McDonald’s style of meal.
Quality and authenticity must always exude. Just as the nature and character of Jesus must exude from us and our house. His power exhibited in our unity and oneness.
We are created in His image. The image of the Kingdom must exude from us and be our example uncontaminated however exposed we become.
We are all works in progress and issues that need resolving that are our weaknesses and blind spots can in love for each other be brought to the surface to be transformed to wholeness.
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
Now. More than ever before we need each other’s trustworthiness. Together we can bring health and good yield to be harvested. Connectedness brings with it accountability, hope and opportunity.
Jesus invested in all even serving Judas who He knew would be His betrayer.
We are not together as parasitic but for symbiotic relationships.
Love has a place to exude from each of us as our gift.
Being close to people we bring mutual giving, blessing and revelation to each other.
We become the strength and gift when we are liberated in dying from ourselves in weakness and are clothed in Christ’s power.
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”
The illustration shows the Holy Spirit uniting us to pour out into each other and to catch from each other in symbiotic love. Each become equals and complete with one another. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
