“God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.”
It was the dream of the Trinity to create us in their image and with their heart.
The desire was for us to be as one as they were one and with them in Eden which translates as ‘bliss’.
The consequence of ‘the fall’ and ‘sin’ was that we were separated.
Only when we open our hearts and revelation again flows into our spirit do we sense the original intention lost.
Rediscovery and repentance for our wrongs is available to all who hear of and accept Jesus into their lives. Hope deferred in unbelief is not lost.
“The Lord said: It isn’t too late. You can still return to me with all your heart. Start crying and mourning! Go without eating.”
The covenant promise made in the beginning comes full cycle and experiential is back at the beginning. That which Eve and Adam lost in disobedience has been redeemed by the Second Adam, Jesus, sacrificed, for our sins to be forgiven, at the cross.
Following His resurrection, the helper, the Holy Spirit , was sent at Pentecost.
His presence within and upon us opens us to an understanding of how to steward and co-labour with Him.
Apart from Him we can do nothing as we are separated from the Creator but with Him we unite relationally and can take our places as sons and daughters.
As heart to heart the mantle of Christ is wrapped around us and activates the expression of life we were intended to walk in set free.
We are restored as prophesied in Isaiah.
“The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners. God sent me to announce the year of his grace— a celebration of God’s destruction of our enemies— and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them “Oaks of Righteousness” planted by God to display his glory. They’ll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage. They’ll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make it new. You’ll hire outsiders to herd your flocks and foreigners to work your fields, But you’ll have the title “Priests of God,” honoured as ministers of our God. You’ll feast on the bounty of nations, you’ll bask in their glory. Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever.”
The beauty and power of who Jesus is drips from our lives to fall upon others.
We step into His original desire and intention.
There is a joy and a celebration in overcoming. Regaining what Adam and Eve lost to the serpent.
Our saying “Jesus I choose You” doubles up with the provision to stand on the head of Satan and experience the victory over evil.
Our restoration doubles with a release from heaven a restored freedom.
There is an irrelevance in evil when we awaken and discover who we truly are.
“ Jesus I choose You. “
The illustration shows us dripping Jesus from our lives as we fall into His original intention. For Him to fall upon others. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
Three Scriptures that come to mind:
