BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 607. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Don’t think I came to bring peace to the earth! I came to bring trouble, not peace. I came to turn sons against their fathers, daughters against their mothers, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law. Your worst enemies will be in your own family. If you love your father or mother or even your sons and daughters more than me, you are not fit to be my disciples. And unless you are willing to take up your cross and follow me, you are not fit to be my disciples. If you try to save your life, you will lose it. But if you give it up for me, you will surely find it.”

We want and need more of not more from the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost happened following a hunger and desperation in the prayers of the disciples contained in the upper room.

They all together and of one accord were joined as we must in not just desiring for ourselves as individuals but collective as we and our.

It was always God’s agenda to be together as it was in Eden.

One with one another creates the temple to bear the fullness of the weight of who He is. No individual alone can bear that.

Together we are the body that  receives the fullness of the revelation. We all know in part.

The fullness ebbs and flows and shifts constantly between the micro and the macro and fulfil the Mandate of Heaven.

We have to be hungry and desperate and intentional so that as we receive together we can manifest as Peter at Pentecost, who under the anointing boldly spoke out impulsively and released what he received to another 3000 to receive also.

Our natural inclination is to hoard up encounters for our own edification.

The fullness of Pentecost is allowing the Holy Spirit to break out. To receive and instantly to give and in so doing break down walls and barriers.

When we are desperate for any reason our mind is consumed at all times not just on occasions and for certain moments.

Pentecost was a destroyer of expectation. The disciples were expecting Jesus as they knew Him before. Instead they received a new power, languages, authority to speak that was not in their experience before and was therefore not in their expectation.

We have to allow God to move how He wants without our constraints framing Him in.

We have to accept intoxication. Be willing to surrender. To be out of control. To be under the influence of Him.

Being under this intoxication is ongoing. Our fullness is up to us. Can we live beyond our own control and being addicted, hungering for more?

The Holy Spirit has been poured out beyond measure upon all who will receive without prescription of first having all our ducks in the right row.

Addiction is wired into us. Can we be trusted with the increase and taking on responsibility?

‘’you are not fit to be my disciples. And unless you are willing to take up your cross and follow me, you are not fit to be my disciples. If you try to save your life, you will lose it. But if you give it up for me, you will surely find it.”

He has come with His own agenda and terms not ours. Jesus set the standard when he said He did nothing of His own accord but what He saw from the Father. We have to get over ourselves.

“Jesus told the people: I tell you for certain the Son cannot do anything on his own. He can do only what he sees the Father doing, and he does exactly what he sees the Father do.”

We can be so addicted that it will be repeatedly worth while to welcome the fullness of Christ. Without that addiction we have probably replaced it with another that has become our idol because we are wired to be addicted to Christ.

We would encounter disappointment if having run the race we felt we could have done it better.

“The apostles left there rejoicing, thrilled that God had considered them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.”

This life is a living sacrifice of us pouring our life out at His feet and He promises to pour His Spirit into us.

“This is why only someone who has God’s Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn’t have God’s Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish.”

We may bring upon ourselves the disdain of others but we have revelation and relationship as the Holy Spirit invites, convicts, quickens, liberates, corrects, teaches and leads.

By the Spirit we are empowered, sanctified and made holy and enabled to become a floodgate to release Him to others and fulfil our purpose.

The illustration shows the unrestrained intoxicated dance of the Holy Spirit filled one unrestrained or restricted by anything other than the anointing and power the Spirit brings. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“Don’t think I came to bring peace to the earth! I came to bring trouble, not peace. I came to turn sons against their fathers, daughters against their mothers, and daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law. Your worst enemies will be in your own family. If you love your father or mother or even your sons and daughters more than me, you are not fit to be my disciples. And unless you are willing to take up your cross and follow me, you are not fit to be my disciples. If you try to save your life, you will lose it. But if you give it up for me, you will surely find it.”Matthew‬ ‭10:34-39‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“Jesus told the people: I tell you for certain the Son cannot do anything on his own. He can do only what he sees the Father doing, and he does exactly what he sees the Father do.” John‬ ‭5:19‬ ‭CEV‬‬

“The apostles left there rejoicing, thrilled that God had considered them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.” Acts‬ ‭5:41‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“This is why only someone who has God’s Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn’t have God’s Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭CEV‬‬
