BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 615. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“He responded, “Every scholar of the Scriptures, who is instructed in the ways of heaven’s kingdom realm, is like a wealthy home owner with his house filled with treasures both new and old.””

Keeping up and in timing with God and revelation of Jesus and keeping in His presence can also implicate the boundaries we have in our lives.

Of where we stop and finish. Of where we start afresh. Of where we allow ourselves to linger or to move on.

There is a fine line between being in and partaking of the sweetness and of becoming sick of.

“If you have found honey, eat only enough for you, lest you have your fill of it and vomit it. “

There is a similar fine line between outstaying our welcome.

“Let your foot be seldom in your neighbours house, lest he have his fill of you and hate you.”

When the day is past, of us closing the page as one would a book and opening the next page in the morning fresh for a new day.

Sometimes our extended sense of personal responsibility, or pride,  makes us want to continue and thoroughly finish off instead of heeding Gods prompt to accept completion and move on and leave behind.

What had been a pleasant perfume can become like a bad smell hanging in the atmosphere.

Sometimes regret holds us in the past. Sometimes fear of the future holds us in the past. The safest place is in the presence of God.

Our sensitivity to His Spirit’s nudging and His will keeps us in obedience and being refreshed is key.

When we feel fatigued and stuck is a good time to perhaps ask God: What regrets am I holding onto that are keeping me in the past and not releasing me to move on ? What fears about the future are holding me back from stepping forward into it?

The answer on occasions reveals nostalgia or pride rooted in the enemies attempts to impede our journeying and distance us from God’s will.

Our disobedience is in not acknowledging the power of God to set us free.

In my experience, doing business with the Lord over this revelation, He enables us to let go and receive what He has for us.

It’s a process like moving house where we pack and keep what is of value and use for the next but get rid of surplus or out used. Even bits that spill over untidily, which we might have disappointment over, God can order and tidy it up.

He has paid for all of our past, present and future. He has progressively revealed more to us. We are redeemed and sorted already in His perspective.

Within our character we have treasures old and new to bring to the storehouse.

“He responded, “Every scholar of the Scriptures, who is instructed in the ways of heaven’s kingdom realm, is like a wealthy home owner with his house filled with treasures both new and old.”

When we believe in His provision always being enough we can live in the principle of giving and it opening the doors for us to receive kingdom blessing.

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

We and collectively the church should be a resource, a storehouse, in our community by being generous with what we have got.

Many of us are privileged and have more than we need.

Many of us are mature and have a spiritual wealth stored to be drawn upon.

Greed is having more than we need.

We are called to be generous givers and to do what does not make sense in a worldly perspective.

There is no need to hold anyone to ransom or force their hand but live in the principle of the kingdom.

Being generous in giving in all regards practically and from the heart with love, care and compassion.

“Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

We put our trust in God to do what He promises and this establishes the flow.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”

He and His cannot be multiplied until it has been given.

Like the widows oil however little we have once given can multiply and never run out.

“give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

The illustration shows the wealthy home owner’s home filled with treasures old and new as a storehouse for all. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
