““I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
God who knows the beginning from the end knows what is required in any circumstance within each of us, our family, our church, our community, our nation, our world.
Frequently He will give, or answer prayer with not what we want but what we need.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
He will expose and terminate that which is no longer working. Is no longer for His purpose.
We may falsely attribute or blame the fault or error to another if we fail to perceive His hand and heart.
“Then the Lord said to Samuel, “Behold, I am about to do a thing in Israel at which the two ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. On that day I will fulfill against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end.”
God is never deceived, never wrong either in His action or in His timing or in His purposing.
There may be extremes necessary. There may be protests and toppling necessary. There may be starvation and hunger necessary.
We may have to be fed on what we need rather than on what we think we want.
““Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end”
When a new page is turned and a new day is dawning much may have to be exposed to discern where the divisions and flaws really lay.
The enemy will frequently distract us from what God is laying bare.
Issues will come to a head and boil over from the pot until the fire that is burning beneath them is extinguished and calm is restored.
God’s hand will Weald the weapon that severs the strings that operate the puppets performing if their dance is not to His tune and order.
There is no place for the divisions caused by the proud independent spirit but only that of dependency, humility and unity.
The freedom where the eagle soars. To everything there is a season.
That is in our lives, our family, our church, our community, our nation, our world.
Each has a part to play, a part to be audited, a part to be cut loose, a part to have the baton passed on.
The illustration shows the issues of the world boiling up and over until what fuels the heat is extinguished. The part played by those in power used for a purpose and exposed and severed where the intentions are not pure. The storms, chaos seas of extremes calmed by the gentle word of Jesus to emanate light and push back the darkness.
