“so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
Just as in a stained glass picture each chard of glass has its unique shape and colour to contribute to the whole picture and without it the picture is incomplete. So God has His ekklesia His church of distinct believers to surrender to their unique purpose in the big picture.
His church ekklesia are those whose hearts break that the knowledge of Him remains unrecognised or His purpose unattended to.
He holds out in the palm of His hand what He is ready to resurrect.
He is always moving some things are unresolved where we have deferred our responsibility and He has walked past.
It is our responsibility to be in His path and not deferring in our waiting being impassive and stagnating.
“And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare “
Every moment has its opportunity to awaken and activate the identity and plan that is held for us.
If we are in it we have to get up and start moving too just as the blind and the lame by the pools had to take some responsibility as Jesus passed by to defy being left and passed by.
We are not waiting for a move. Jesus is the move. Jesus in His ministry said “I only do what I see the Father doing.”
“So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.”
Divine appointments are what we attract if we have our eyes open to see what He is doing.
Historically there has been certain revelation for certain generations as it has become appropriate and glory manifests in different cycles and levels.
Prophetic insight points to what God is revealing in the current climate to assist us to know what to pray into.
“Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.”
We only entertain what we see some personal value and significance in.
If we don’t see ourselves all as ministers in His work we will sit back and leave it to others who we perceive as to having that role.
We have to take on responsibility because we know our value is unique in the place where we are and what we have had revealed to us and therefore pursue.
This knowledge awakens in us more of our purpose as we move in truth.
It is only when we don’t see the value in something that we don’t pursue it, don’t grow in it, don’t desire it.
Unique gifts that God gives to each of us we discover as we pursue His voice and He reveals Himself in us. Not as an optional extra but for a unique reason.
Truth is not a thing, or information, it is Jesus. He is constantly moving. He is alive. Not meant to be bottled and kept for use again as remedy. The need and the essence Jesus will keep modifying. We have to keep up and be in date.
God created His church throughout the generations for the revelation that is current and needed for the time and purpose in it.
Any area of truth that has become static has stopped growing. We must therefore not feel we are familiar and have it all sorted. The next moment will have a different hue and need. We don’t have time to become over familiar or bored.
“Familiarity breeds contempt “
It may be the same view but seen from the perspective of a higher level so much more comes into the frame.
It may be the same view but seen from a closer perspective so much more detail has clarity.
Therefore we can always see and know what we didn’t before as we pursue our relationship with God.
We see with new eyes. We seek to go deeper and seek to soar higher. We come with empty vessels and ask for more and He fills us.
The illustration shows Christ striding on the move with every purpose in the world, His Church, and each individual purposefully in His hand. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
