BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 638. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.”

“Go”. Jesus sends His 12 disciples ahead of Him to prepare a way. He sends 72 off in pairs to different regions to prepare for Him coming.

He sends us out wherever we are to talk about our faith  and prepare a way.

Where those precede Him with faith it must indicate He has been preparing a way, He is about to act.

We pour out our all for Him to pour out His.

The earth is the Lords and everything in it. Where He prepares a harvest we partner in when we are anointed in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus rides in, in glory, where we go ahead of Him.

We like John the Baptist have recognised Him since before birth and know it, like him, to be in our purpose to prepare the way.

“The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

Knowing Him is never for us alone. What we receive we give.

It currently breaks our hearts to see media evidence of many aspects of the war with Russia invading Ukraine. Not least is the abundant ripe harvest fields not being harvested or the products of the harvesting not reaching countries that are starving for lack of receiving.

It is a tragedy in the natural. The harvest in the spiritual is equally a tragic waste.

We have to grasp every window of opportunity to bring in the Harvest that God is preparing. It is a round the clock, all hands on deck, urgency.

Achievable and successful only by being dependent upon Jesus. He sends us out and we return with joy.

It is mysteriously knowing our purpose and mission and diving into it  which brings both peace, rest and joy.

“The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

There is a constant spiritual battle surrounding us and we are not by chance or coincidence partly involved in our every move word and choices.

We play our part in the transformation and revelation taking place Everyone, everywhere counts

“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.””

Our victory comes in living our lives for others as Christ did it takes radical faith which can only be sown by seeds of revelation.

There are fresh seeds placed in our hands now to be sown now, to be planted in fertile soil. Not to be discarded for fear of speaking or reaching out.

In our other hand we may be holding cuttings from a former understanding and they need to be dropped because there is new life to take their place now.

We may have to stop holding on to the familiar but plant the new so that we do not waste the new life.

The illustration shows the harvest fields ready and fresh seeds in the one hand to sow now to bring life as we drop the familiar cuttings in our other hand. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” Luke‬ ‭10:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

““The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” Luke‬ ‭10:16-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” Luke‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭ESV‬‬
