“Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. he reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. To you, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of you, for you have made known to us the king’s matter.” The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”
Daniel was one man who stood out amongst many because he firstly was devoted to his secret place of praying and encountering God.
Disobedient to the rule to not pray, at the forfeit of being fed to the lions, but obedient to the voice of the One he put first and foremost in his life.
The sign and wonders of that incident transformed his life and those who witnessed it.
Currently we bury a Queen who had her prayer closet in Windsor where she too prayed daily personally and in tongues, to a God who she had given her life to. The wisdom and the joy visible on her persona being the light seen tangibly. Her strength, calm and heart to serve a fruit of that abiding in. Knowingly or subconsciously this we see and sense and hold in respect.
Jesus in his ministry won the one who was before Him and in so doing impacted the masses.
Jesus is not just a prayer to pray He is a life to live.
A prayer response alone will plant a seed shallowly. Witnessing the power of God drives the seed deep to never be forgotten and a foundation for greater fruit to grow upon.
The functioning and the corporate sharing of the secret place encounterings, manifest the kingdom corporately and create the desire for gifts and for more and the dead become alive.
“And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many. When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!””
Desire exceeds fear and the enemy is threatened by that.
Fire is caught and ignites others to kindle embers into flames. It is a growth that starts small and spreads wildly.
Just as an encounter with a God visitation can be stewarded into becoming His habitation. His presence is revival. One that He desires to not be protracted but to be extended to traverse a move and become a culture.
Building up our spiritual capacity personally and corporately. Each bringing our secret place to corporately share. The alters of our hearts aflame, spreading like wildfires.
We don’t grow a church with numbers on seats but when we birth a move of God’s presence.
Transportation from the empty and hollow in ritual to the conception and birthing of His substance. Our spiritual capacity is key to expansion and stretching we contend for.
Moments of outpouring discerned will accelerate. Revival is in the presence of God. He transforms us. We put our hope in God.
God puts His government on us and we have to know the signs of the times by spiritual discernment.
“And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.”
We have to recognise and know Christ only and not be side swerved by anything but focus on Him.
“How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Our authority is in Christ alone, we must abdicate to no other power as we evolve into the power filled ekklesia that Christ speakers of.
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
The church then becomes the standard in power and truth. Belonging to it becomes the desire of all as they recognise the liberation. The world is reformed from being broken and driven by men’s politics and Satan to being freed within the kingdom of God.
God removes His favour from those with other priorities to Him. His grace holds back the tides of wickedness.
He is never diminished. Our desire is less for more from Him but more for more of Him. That is our blessing and to come into citizenship in an increasing kingdom as we obey Jesus.
The illustration shows the birthing of a movement of the presence God igniting and spreading like wild fire. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
