“And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” And he said to him, “If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favour in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?””
We have to posture ourselves to not just attend church.
We have to take up occupation and host His presence by whatever means we have developed in the secret place to experience His power and glory.
Witnessing our dive into the water encourages more to leap in to experience also. His army of angels surround and support us as Jacob witnessed.
We don’t come to church to bask in what the leader has prepared for us we come to pull together in God’s presence, on His fullness.
Prayer is fundamental. We are all prayer warriors from the youngest to the oldest the Holy Spirit equips us equally.
Supplication in desperation creates an atmosphere of His abiding and habitation. It is the engine propelling us into His presence.
“If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favour in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?”
Just as Moses knew. God’s presence is a powerful force. Uncontainable hunger and thirst for it fuses us to explode, to generate His glory.
Desperation in our cry brings God. We do not have to wait for devastation. The measure of encounter brings revival.
Those in the world recognising that the institutions and structures man has built are spiralling out of control are wanting more for them and the generations to come.
To be empowered to deal with what the world throws. They look for the supernatural and the real to deal with it is only in Christ’s kingdom.
He is that solution.
Revival embraced in the church makes every aspect within each of us better.
Transformed we can deal with world issues we progressively can bring about reformation.
Present pain is about future purpose. We can overcome with our choices making our battles and emotions worth the enduring.
The enemy oppresses attempting to separate us. By holding on we have the victory. Jesus is our healer. God will turn around war to glory.
“He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Some anointing can only be carried by the broken. There is a process to be gone through.
Just as Jesus in humility walked the road of the cross to His death before the victory of the resurrection could be played out. We share in the suffering to partake fully in the glory.
“For his anger is but for a moment, and his favour is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
Jacob limped to be renamed Israel. He who holds fast in righteousness is promised the morning star.
“And I will give him the morning star.”
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.””
The illustration shows Christ revealed as the Morning Star. Those burning in the church deep in river led by the Holy Spirit and angels all emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
Five Scriptures that come to mind:
