For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”
Social media and the media has a foundation of arousing fear. Don’t open the door to allow fear access.
“And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.”
We ask for the blessing for us and our children to be fear free. We know of a greater truth. We can be guarded on our decision making and bold in our response. We do not orchestrate our future or distrust God with it.
Fear has to be cast out or we find the very thing we feared comes to be as in Job it has been empowered in our speaking it out.
“For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.”
We may need to renounce fear, bind it and cast it out to be delivered of it. As a demon or strongman it comes in by our agreement and has equally to go out by our agreement.
God will replace it with peace and love and our joy can return. God is love.
“Perfect love casts out Fear “
There is a divine exchange when we let go of fear we take hold of God.
As church we can model freedom, something wild and fear free without boundaries. God’s drive is pure enabling us to be fear free whatever the crisis.
We embrace God’s love put trust and faith in Him and He turns up as we loose control.
In the world right now there seems to be chaos, confusion and grief in everything we look to.
God is not a God of confusion but of order.
Conversely the bible mentions a sea creature looking spirit who is exactly that called Leviathan or Rahab, found in the midst of storms of many types.
“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook or press down his tongue with a cord?”
“Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?”
A strongman spirit of pride, arrogance chaos, confusion and grief can certainly be seen at work throughout history and prevalently now.
God can move this aside as He did parting the seas and quietening the storm in the OT and NT.
God wants always to make a clear way, enable transition and take the way of advantage. He moves swirling waters and chaos out of the way for the redeemed to cross over and to see with clarity
Leviathan can be trampled under foot and subdued.
God’s revelation is that there will ultimately be no more sea. Meaning no more storms or tribulations.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”
There are two kingdoms and spiritual warfare between light and dark. “We wrestle not with flesh and blood “
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
Our resistant mindset is believing Jesus has all authority over evil.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
We can speak order over our mind and have the mind of Christ and not be shut down to the living breathe of the Holy Spirit by the tight scales of Leviathan.
“His back is made of rows of shields, shut up closely as with a seal. One is so near to another that no air can come between them.”
The illustration shows the living breath of the Holy Spirit order breaking down Leviathan’s chaos storms of fear. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
