BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 666 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.”

We have to link arms because we so need one another. To prefer the other as we see in them something we need because it is lacking in us and they honouring what they see in us that is their need.

There is a requirement and responsibility in all of us to honour one another above ourselves.

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

This is counter cultural where there is striving to outdo, be best, be easily offended, always the one in the right and never the one who is wrong.

It is not so much about my destiny but the destiny in me for others.

Our identity is in being who God created me to be but that is equally the case for everyone around me who are also made in God’s image and with a purpose and destiny.

To honour each is to give them  weight and value no matter what.

Seeing others as Christ sees them is seeing their best and honours that foremost in them.

Even Jesus in His life encountered being dishonoured in His own town resulting in Him moving on as it left nothing much for Him to give.

“And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour except in his hometown and in his own household.””

There is no expectancy of miracles where there is no honour shown. Where there is honour the Holy Spirit flows. How we treat is how we receive. Life is limited where there is no honour.

Honour is not something demanded it is freely given.

Modern culture exhibits where there is a wrestle in homes and establishments for a respect and honouring of authority.

Some of us may even look like we are honouring but we are inwardly rolling our eyes up in our spirit.

Nothing goes unseen and it shuts anointing down. Shuts us off from receiving what is in others that we need. There is no miraculous.

Our dishonouring quells the Holy Spirit. What we think matters. It releases the hand of God. It becomes our break through.

““Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.”

Dishonour, is contagious, it soon infects everyone in the camp. Our honouring others enables us to host the Holy Spirit. We become hosts for something much bigger. Jesus in the room.

He is not in the third person He is in the present in His presence.

He pours wine into every clay pot present and together we become the dwelling place to have impact. As we pour out to fill another so another pours out to fill us.

It’s not about me it is about all.

We are the new wine in the new season Christ’s ministry commenced with the water to wine miracle at the wedding feast in Cana.

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”

Honour brings mighty works. We have to love well for others to see love not eye rolls. We each need a part of each other.

The illustration shows vessels standing together each honoured as of value to the other in the new wine that they hold. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
