“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.””
Great shaking precedes great awakening.
In the natural what doesn’t look like good news and is getting magnified into fear and escalation of the enemies wiles can be made to flee by magnifying the Lord and this flips the enemies plans.
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”
We are citizens of the kingdom of God which by far surpasses that of the world. Jesus comes to give us a sound mind, peace hope and life.
There is no force that can overturn what Christ intends.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”
We daily pray “Your kingdom come” He daily upholds that and therefore we can be encourage.
Even though there seems discomfort and punishment in the shaking we realise it is strategic and indicative of love and awakening to a life in its fullness.
We make our lives like a sail that catches the wind of the Spirit and goes with it in His direction and time.
God delights in divine surprises that we have a choice to be part of or not. Choosing to yield.
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”
All the promises of God are Yes and Amen through Christ.
The Amen is spoken aloud by us too.
Yes is now hovering over us, over the chaos and the void.
What God gives is sovereign but we have the opportunity to act upon it as our responsibility.
We have to be obedient to partner with the Holy Spirit.
That sets the promise in motion and direction we navigate together.
We are not onlookers but participants.
We come before Him kneeling, asking and showing ourselves faithful in stewarding what He gives us.
The illustration shows us kneeling expectant of giving our Amen to Jesus’ yes our Spiritual sail set to catch the wind of the Holy Spirit for direction and timing. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
