“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!”
Use this time to stand taller not to become smaller. We have the truth and hope to proclaim. God’s people are identified as the living gates and doorways.
When God opens the doorway to eternity and His kingdom no one or no circumstance can close them.
“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. ‘’
The victory of Jesus anchors us. We are conquers. We are secure in the future.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
As seasons eras and rulers come and go Jesus is the constant one ruling from the throne. Those searching must hear the powerful name of Jesus.
He is the true one who holds all authority.
We are not bystanders of pomp and ceremony we stand with Him in the gap and increase in size not diminish. We intercede for righteousness in our leaders and governments as the King of Glory is heralded.
As our monarchy changes so does its power.
Our Queen ruled seventy years standing in a gap of righteousness in legislation and with a faith and prayer life strengthened by a prayer closet and knowing God.
That blessing and anointing changes from what it has been.
We are preparing now for the return of King Jesus ruling from within our hearts
As we lift our heads to Him and soon to the world.
‘’Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.’’
Sons of God are revealed who will lift their heads and stand tall in battle to set creation free from bondage and corruption. The harvest multiplies.
“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”
The illustration shows us lifting our heads and standing tall to proclaim hope to the world in its darkness. The light emanating to push back the darkness.
Three Scriptures that come to mind:
“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah”Psalm 24:7-10 ESV
