When we choose death to self we break something off us which has restricted and inhibited our freedom to life.
To be Yielded is never imposed upon us. We are invited and we choose.
It has to be genuine response. It cannot be construed, manufactured or imposed.
We are transported to a place of mirroring God’s wellness, righteousness and Christ’s mindset.
The requisite of the new season we embark upon. One where the peace inside is greater than the storm outside where the risk level seems up 100%.
Our obedience does not only implicate us but the generations to come too.
Responsibility to be ready to receive the upgrade of revelation and covenant promise must not be made ready to propel us forward. God is not robbed of His desires.
He has a perfect Will and a permissive will.
So much can be permitted but some commitment and transformation can also be required.
We do not live in a fatalistic atmosphere of what will be will be but one that requires belief and trust.
We are all given opportunities to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and we need to be right with God.
To be aware of what comes from Him as the source and what doesn’t. To honour Jesus in our faith and belief.
God’s plan will come to be despite us but there is a joy in becoming a part of it. Of uniting and not allowing souls to be lost on our watch of the harvest.
By not partnering we are left in the shallows and not dealing with issues that are pending. Not reaching the deep, rich place of celebration and party.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
We are deemed overcomers not capped victims. We don’t settle for lives outside God’s best for us. His mercies are new every morning it is never too late.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
God releases promises but on conditions so that we don’t lean upon our own understanding but upon His.
We have frequently to act not react.
To lead others by modelling and not pointing critical fingers, be problem solvers. Solution makers.
We all have a place to occupy and a task to fulfil in the body of Christ. We are in a tag team with a need to know our place and lead in our portion and strength. We are always responsible for something bigger than ourselves.
The illustration shows us immersed and in Christ and He in us our spirits as one. Part of something bigger than ourselves. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
