“Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”
In the storms and struggles we are finding in our present culture we are those to bring His strength and sweetness
God hovers over all voids and formlessness. The Spirit of God brings out His best work in chaos
“The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.”
God brings hope in Christ and all the provision and abundance we require not to retreat but to advance.
Our value is great because Jesus Christ is the same throughout eternity
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
God is accessible 24/7 to all of us
In the valleys of despair He has the hope and the strength of bedrock and we too carry that. We are anchored to Christ. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life.
Jesus was our forerunner and He is winching us in from the heavenly realms always. He hears and knows us in all we do.
“Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. “They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.”
We can change the spiritual atmosphere wherever we are. We too dissolve, scatter and destroy despair and fear. We put value to the presence of Jesus. We honour with our lips and hearts.
He is the fountain from which we drink not from the man made cisterns.
Christ in our midst can change lives.
The illustration shows the anchor in heavens bedrock drawing us in closer and safe. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
