God’s grace is on things that we are in step with Him within the right season and timing. If the Lord is in it it is right.
Only when we keep our eyes firmly fixed on Christ will we see what He is enabling to flourish even amidst a storm.
Foundation upon rock is important. Blessings are upon those houses built upon the fruits that come from the Lord
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”
We are not to become victims of seasons but those who gain wisdom within it’s duration. Jesus teaches how to develop aspects of our character in our experiences and in hindsight we discover our struggles develop our deepest understandings and strengths.
God is always faithful and stands in the gaps of our learning.
He allows us time to walk the length between a promise and it being delivered. Allows us our doubts that ultimately strengthen our beliefs.
However the enemy intervenes God is always faithful.
Joy is a position not only an emotion. The position of rejoicing in where we have come to, often through hardship. Our spiritual journey is progressive towards a goal and it helps us to know where we are.
To know what we can and can’t do and become accountable to how we can progress further. Faith pushes us further. Is like the addition of weights to the bar we want to lift.
Only by stepping further than the familiar and challenging our capacity for more do we train to a greater capacity of revelation.
The finishing line can be extended and we discover we can still attain it.
God , like our trainer pushes us one step at a time for more and our part is consistency and discipline and sight kept on the goal and starting with a resolution.
We discover that we can hold each other up when we are in union and not isolated. We can become the heavy weights who feast on the full plateful instead of those still expecting to be being fed comfort milk from the bottle.
Become those who enable others to taste more.
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.”
Become those who enable others to see more.
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”
God seeks out spiritual heavy weights in this season to be the new wine.
The illustration shows the milk for the immature and meat for the mature and the new wine for those breaking through the glass ceiling into the new season. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
Three Scriptures that come to mind:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” Matthew 5:3-11 KJV
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13 KJV
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Matthew 5:14-15 KJV
