“O Lord, God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, there is no one able to take a stand against You.”
United and blessing each other is a prerequisite of our new era.
Standing with and sharing truth restores us because we all need each other’s revelation of the truth of Christ to make up the whole picture of the bride and groom.
If we do not bless others we will not build that habit within us to surf any crisis. We will instead be tempted to take sides politically or nationally instead of being of the kingdom.
Our hearts must be made soft and with no prejudice. Heaven is home to all nations and cultures worshipping God. Our restoration to oneness in Him is mandatory.
“On earth as in heaven”
We reign in Christ and have a global identity. We are one. We bless each other in oneness not aboveness.
We come with humility not elitism. We have one citizenship in the kingdom of God. We do not battle with people but with principalities.
All hostile and antagonistic mindsets are birthed from the enemy not God.
God will not box us within any separatism.
We can easily slip into becoming an echo chamber of the world view if we do not bless and honour people in all cultures and nations especially those we may struggle with.
Jesus frequently confronted evidence of divisions on all levels. The Good Samaritan parable being an obvious time.
There is no clamour for competition just celebration and gratitude for honouring strengths. We cannot receive from those we do not honour.
We are all gifted and anointed in different ways and measure and we need a share of others portion. As a body we have need of sharing and interdependency. This has traversed generations.
“And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories.”
Different nations reflect Christ in different ways because they see Him in their way. Those persecuted Mozambican tribes and others, have seen their saviour heal and restore their lives where nothing else could and have a strength that defies suffering that we in the west need to know about to find that aspect of God for ourselves.
“This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.”
Different ones of us have need to learn and there are those excelling in generosity, hospitality, forgiveness, caring, overcoming, love the endless facets and expressions of God’s character.
Where a culture has become flawed in its theology or existence it comes to the end of what it can generate and therefore is in need of a new thought process and regime.
Other nations, churches, cultures can reveal our blind spots. We do not all always have all things right even though we think we have.
Heaven will represent the authentic redemptive identity of every tribe. When we glimpse it that brings us to a new place of understanding in the kingdom.
Where we do not take sides but acknowledge the richness of Christ. When we are one the world may believe.
“that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me.”
The illustration shows us united as one with all human beings as Jesus, the Father and the Spirit are one. No divisions or separations in Heaven and the kingdom. Together emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
