BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 726 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less )

“And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people),”

Darkness is the absence of Light. Jesus is light. Light is revelation.

The enemy wants to remain hidden but Jesus was made incarnate and came into the world. Wrong deeds are exposed when the Holy Spirit floods our hearts with light when we welcome Jesus to abide there and continuously reveal the glory of God to us.

We are fully transformed and have a renewed mind.

Jesus is the light of the world.

All private thought and deed is therefore exposed.

“And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.”

We are continuously being transformed and called to be ‘children of Light’.

There is a path of light that calls us to walk upon it.

As we walk more is revealed and we discover yet more is still unknown and to be discovered.

Darkness is where there is no revelation of God.

“For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [live as those who are native-born to the Light]”

In Jesus’ life we see light and we are being clothed in His life and light and so becoming children of light the fruits of which are goodness, righteousness and truth.

We become more utterly transparent and more reconciled the more we encounter Him.  It says scripturally that then we will shine like stars in the sky.

“For then you will be seen as innocent, faultless, and pure children of God, even though you live in the midst of a brutal and perverse culture. For you will appear among them as shining lights in the universe,”

The sun shines and equally in so doing sustains life in the world. The photosynthesis energy beginning a food chain as well as temperature and light.

We are not like a moon that can only reflect a light and life but have our own light to shine, the light of God, and sustain His life and kingdom in the world.

Abrahams offspring were to be as numerous as the stars in heaven was an image, of our generations to come, in the OT. Our light as stars in the kingdom was also in God’s plan. We carry and generate God’s light.

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”

What has always been there by revelation becomes more visible  by God’s grace we come to His glory.

We become lights of the world as we carry Christ and recognise Him. It is our call to hold our lamp high and be a source of light for others too.

We get to participate in the divine nature as we are made one with God.

We don’t walk with God now as Adam did. Our intimacy is greater because we walk in God. As He is so also are we in this world.

“By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.”

In Isaiah it does not say ‘Arise and reflect’ bit ‘Arise and shine.’

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

In Revelation creatures of worship are those with multiple eyes. Totally transparent no darkness hidden.

“And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!””

Elsewhere referencing that the eye is the window of our soul.

‭‭ “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!”

The illustration shows the eye as a lamp of our soul. A transparency where light shines from in the absence of darkness. The emanating light pushes back the darkness.

Nine Scriptures that come to mind:
