BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 734 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less )

“People will no longer need to teach their neighbours and relatives to know me. For all of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me,” says the Lord. “For I will forgive their sin and will no longer call to mind the wrong they have done.”

God’s new covenant and desire is to know us more intimately and for us to know Him and this He fulfilled in Jesus.

His Word and His residence in our heart are our place of encounter and hearing His voice.

He shapes how we live. Our refusal to come to Him denies life.

Jesus reveals Himself intimately to those who keep His word. We do have to know His word to be enabled to make that choice of Will.

Vulnerability, openness and sharing hearts changes the dynamics of how closely we know and come to love a person. How we build up trust, confidence and belief in our relationship and dispel any misconceptions.

Sharing words is how we communicate whether in person or in written form. Through them their presence is manifest.

At present we sense seeing dimly as through a mirror. Shadows perhaps instead of clear 20/20 vision whilst we are in this world.

“For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.”

We must not grow weary in the wait as if the engagement is too long and the joy of consummating the marriage too distant.

There is always more. More of Christ to know, to love, to trust and to experience of His word.  The knowledge that there is more means the heart can respond with hope. Each splash of joy being a sign of a tsunami and ocean to come.

The Holy Spirit stirs up that expectation, hope and desire in us.

Waiting is less than we first thought and the blessings greater than we anticipated.

This is how we get over ourselves and our own seeking for glory and gain a certainty, a knowing that only His glory is sufficient.

His glory becomes visible as more than a mysterious golden sheen. It emanates from a person.

The God we know is the God we show. He is much more than a figment of our imagination.

He Is.

He is who we finally make room for at last. The stable of the Christmas Carols is in our hearts.

The illustration shows us making room in our hearts for an incarnate God as Jesus and the Holy Spirit born in reality in us to emanate light and push back the darkness.

Two Scriptures that come to mind:

“People will no longer need to teach their neighbours and relatives to know me. For all of them, from the least important to the most important, will know me,” says the Lord. “For I will forgive their sin and will no longer call to mind the wrong they have done.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭34‬ ‭NET‬‬

“For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭12‬ ‭NET‬‬
