““Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
The kingdom of God increases as the kingdom of the world decreases.
Though the road and access is through the narrow gate at the side of the five bar gate however flung wide and attractive it may appear.
The kissing gate of intimacy leads to life and being kept in the right place.
The enemy hates the kissing gate. He will seduce us through the wide gate.
Jesus is the way, He brings life in its fullness.
“I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
Righteousness, joy and peace come accessed by the narrow way.
This gate will find us always looking at our blessings with gratitude and praise.
“Let us come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with songs. For the Lord is a great God And a great King above all gods,”
The wide finds us never satisfied, seeing our deficit and lack above all else.
We do not look at what we don’t have but instead in humility lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus and give ourselves to Him.
We only find favour at the feet of Jesus where we can pour out all that He has poured over us
He is the bridge to the higher place.
“Therefore you are no longer a slave (bond-servant), but a son; and if a son, then also an heir through [the gracious act of] God [through Christ].”
We are unique and have only to be ourselves to step into our purpose and identity.
No one else can be positioned or represent that special place but us.
We to are commissioned therefore as Christ to bring life into the big picture.
The Holy Spirit introduces us to know who we are, our strengths and weaknesses. Our wholeness becomes complete by walking with and fitting into those we have been put alongside. United, together we value and are our fullness.
We are who Jesus says we are. We are defined by Him. He is at our centre.
The illustration shows us each as uniquely purposed to be ourselves and be formed to fit the big picture authored by Christ as only we can bringing His light to push back the darkness.
