“If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed.”
God is always unfolding more revelation to each of us. Sharpening our wisdom helps us to keep apace with ease.
He brings us to His table to eat. To spend time listening to Him and for us to take from the table greater provision than food but also to weaponise us and anoint us.
The table we sit at with Him has so many aspects. It is personal, one to one communication and presence. Exclusive and intimate and yet corporate at one and the same time.
A place where He pours out and our cup overflows. Where He prepares His bride to be sent out.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
In the past the rod and staff of the shepherd. Now the sceptre and orb of power and rule and the symbolism of a King Reigning.
Redefining a new day and who we are in authority.
God speaks and expects us to listen. To understand how we operate and flow one between the other and aligning with Him.
We have been in times of maturing and developing new teeth for a more sustaining diet.
We eat like weaned children
“But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.”
He weaponises us.
Our teeth now have the ferocious ability to tear the enemy apart.
“Behold, I make of you a threshing sledge, new, sharp, and having teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and crush them, and you shall make the hills like chaff;”
What may have become established as good once may require ripping apart to be transformed.
The illustration shows the provision on the spiritual table as more than food. The sharpened iron, the sceptre and orb carried by royalty. The light emanating to push back the darkness.
