“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Ours is not to allow fear and pain to rob us. Allow God to define us in the possibilities He has hidden for the future.
Our posture is then of courage , bravery, gratitude and of being in the right timing for Him to define us.
We have no right to question God. We have the responsibility to know that God does all things well.
We do not need to push God away in our frustration and cynicism but instead draw closer and rise above the waves and the storm.
To ascend above the chaos and disorder on earth. God from His ascended place scoffs on His enemies.
“He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.”
God will resolve our disappointments and help us to move on.
We can ask where our responsibilities lie to become part of the solution as a kingdom citizen.
We can retell the story and fill the void where world leadership has dropped the ball and have found rejection.
Fruit is ugly when it represents what is in it for me. It only has Beauty when it provides and puts first the other.
It is not a story of entitlement but of responsibility. God’s gifts provide and make a space and platform to move on.
Prophesy is God centred not people centred we do not have rights but privileges to set horizons and to bring the timing and the pieces of God’s picture into action.
Health care, education, welfare, wellness and wellbeing are not establishments and systems for our worship.
They are established from God’s throne room and He is the source for praise and direction.
God provokes us to be part of His solution not visa versa. Such systems are a gift from God and need contending for.
Our lives should not be reactionary but responsive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit that we do not idolise a system or institute but all who are framed and united in the flow of welfare to life.
Give value to what God has value for creating a tidal wave of welfare and wellbeing.
We do not exist for ourselves but others are our purpose. Ours is to transform what has been defiled in any way.
Beautify what has become ugly. Make a difference.
The illustration shows us entering His gates with thanksgiving ,and His courts with praise, emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
Two Scriptures that come to mind:
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5 ESV
“He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.”Psalm 2:4 ESV
