“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”
God is much bigger and has victory over our lives. The enemy is but a footstool under our feet.
“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.”
God wants our humanity the flesh we attempt to hide. Our humility to submit all. This frees us from the vulnerable place the enemy could attack.
If God occupies that space in each of us and corporately, humanity doors are flung open.
His occupation displaces all that is in our wilderness. He makes His home in our groaning and reality.
We can allow God the gardener to sow seeds and create His Garden of Eden. For our united Spirits to walk and talk in the peace of the evening as it was intended.
When He inhabits our wilderness He fills the space with Holy Spirit.
We inhabit the place of the kingdom where there is a reversal of the image of the world.
The enemy claims empty wilderness and wasteland. Displacement of that barren land is in the breakthrough of glory transforming and renewing our minds to the realm of peace and joy.
“Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.””
His wrath is His burning passion. He is a God of strong emotion. We rest in the Lord and He enables our transformation. That which overcomes evil with good. Sourced in love.
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Jesus is abundant life.
The illustration shows the empty wasteland and wilderness within us broken into and filled by life and light to restore us and emanate a light to push back the darkness.
