BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 701. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Why is God pressing us we may be questioning?

It is because He is crushing to make the new wine.

All of us corporately are needed to make the new flavour. Squeezing brings out both the good positive elements and the bad negative also comes to the surface to be skimmed off and disposed of.

Good wine is made by making the grapes push through the narrow places. Also from the clusters where there is the dynamic of different coming together.

Within a decade from sensing the onset of a new season we have already engaged in three years of circumstances of separation and the re-clustering.

We are now in the processing which we are averse to but which is a necessary part to know for certain that God is with us and for us. The crushing brings the anointing.

We have to operate from the inside out as Jesus demonstrated in the bows of the boat in the storm. Where He rested on the truths of His faith and slept in the turbulence whilst His disciples operated from the outside in and were more influenced by the world circumstances and fearful and faithless.

The world does not have an anchor and know how to survive. We as Christians do have an anchor in Christ and can rest in the wisdom and knowledge that He is in control.

The church body though leaner post Covid is stronger and holds the answers to the worlds crisis. We are the new wine being created through these next seven years.

Allow God to have an intimate relationship with us through His Holy Spirit.

“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine;”

Know Him from the inside out. We have to keep the goal in sight instead of quick results and consequently pace our energy but equally sustaining momentum to break through this season which is to consolidate and empower.

The spark leads to the flame, to the fire, to the inferno.

Everything God does is strategic. Our sustenance  is in the journey, walking with God.

Jesus has modelled that in giving the little we hold in our hand He can multiply it supernaturally and miraculously to provide. It happens in the thanksgiving moment as He blesses it.

We are not victims of the enemy’s word from the outside but from what heaven decrees from the inside.

He is the name above all names.

“God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, “

The illustration shows the breaking and crushing of the grape to release the multiple parts of glory of the new wine never experienced before and emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Two Scriptures that come to mind:

“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 700. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”

In the storms and struggles we are finding in our present culture we are those to bring His strength and sweetness

God hovers over all voids and formlessness. The Spirit of God brings out His best work in chaos

“The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.”

‭‭God brings hope in Christ and all the  provision and abundance we require not to retreat but to advance.

Our value is great because Jesus Christ is the same throughout eternity

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

God is accessible 24/7 to all of us

In the valleys of despair He has the hope and the strength of bedrock and we too carry that. We are anchored to Christ. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, the Life.

Jesus was our forerunner and He is winching us in from the heavenly realms always. He hears and knows us in all we do.

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. “They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.”

We can change the spiritual atmosphere wherever we are. We too dissolve, scatter and destroy despair and fear. We put value to the presence of Jesus. We honour with our lips and hearts.

He is the fountain from which we drink not from the man made cisterns.

Christ in our midst can change lives.

The illustration shows the anchor in heavens bedrock drawing us in closer and safe. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm‬ ‭90‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. “To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 699. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.”

God delights in us and His desire is that we delight in Him and are equally delightful.

Sin challenges ‘being delighted in’ and because He loves us God disciplines us to maintain our being true to what He can delight in.

His discipline is never pay back or vindictive.

The principle is quick action fixes quickly and the account is short.

Happiness and delight is restored quickly with honesty and without the hurt element that we all have the capacity for.

Where we culturally have been over tolerant it fails. Misunderstanding of unrighteousness has pervaded and got deeper and more intrenched and harder to tackle.

Intervention requires a conversation and to love well. If we leave someone to their own devices and destruction we actually have not loved them well.

God loves us well.

“For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

Short accounts are far easier to manage. First the correction that exposes the wrong. Second the rebuke that points out it’s error. Third the encouragement to modify and put to rights. Fourth the patience to assist and give time. Finally the careful instructions advise for correction.

No shying away from responsibility to heal and strengthen relationships ultimately in trust and truth.

All discipline seems painful but it yields fruit. As God disciplines the ones He loves so must we.

It is not a measure of rejection but of affection.

The pain of quick fix is less than the slow left to be fixed later. Long accounts lead to more trauma in the end than quick and dealt with and moving forward

“Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hands you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison.”

There are aspects and dimensions of God’s love that can only be modelled by seeing and knowing His discipline.

There is such value in the conversation and dialogue and getting used to accepting being corrected rather than the hopeless question of why did no one say?

We have to model and demonstrate the God we serve. It is modelling Justice.

The illustration shows us speaking out discipline in love to keep others to short account and on the path that emanates light that pushes back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 698. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Life originates in the spirit realm and any changes will also originate there and hence any redemption and reformation by being alive in the spirit not the flesh.

“You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.”

The scriptural order is first the spirit, second the soul and third the body making up our whole being and we are born from this reality. Within that order of priority life flows easily.

We are spirit first living for a short while in a body. It makes sense to submit to the spirit leading and denying both our emotions, soul, and flesh, body, to take the lead role.

The spirit influenced by its oneness to the Holy Spirit will embrace God’s ways of righteousness. Body and emotions  fight in sin and desires

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

We do have to take on the responsibility but can pray to be led by the spirit to be strengthened and set free.

“that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,”

We were born and wired in God’s image to walk in the spirit outside the confines of the body and mind. The spirit is in dwelling and united and we in relationship with Him.

“But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.”

Spirit led people are the transforming force God has created us to be. Yielding to the spirit of God has the direction of continual increase.

In our own logic we may think we have the solutions and they are superior. God’s solutions, those sent by the spirit may sound improbable but they work and do not fail and therefore are the superior.

“Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.””

The illustration shows us walking first and foremost in the Spirit in relational strength emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Six Scriptures that come to mind :

“You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,”Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 697. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.””

All the complexities can be pushed aside if we come to God as little children.

Receiving Him simply with child like faith and knowing we need to be transformed into the image of Jesus. Have His joy and laughter in our lives.

We have been and are in a time of shaking and uncertainty.

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord 6of hosts.”

We are participants as in an army not an audience in what is now.

This time is not one of an end but of a new beginning. We are part of God’s solution and part of His glory to come.

Eternity is in our hearts. People are unknowingly hungry for Jesus. Desperate for a rock that is unshakable when everything else is moving.

Jesus knocks on the front door and the enemy on the back whilst we must not remain too idle or sleepy to be bothered to get up and give welcome and access to the master. We have to wake and jump into action readily. Throw open doors and windows and let light in to dispense with the darkness which cannot exist in its presence.

By being humble before God all other will be shown up to be futile and pathetic in His presence. God’s covenant is unbreakable.

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

The battle is the Lord’s not ours but we influence consequences. God’s Holy Spirit supplies us with the oil, the flame, the voice, the light.

Whilst the world economises on light and heating and food our God has promised to provide and in faith our churches should be party to the opposite and open for all to come in and whilst in for there to be opportunities to hear the word and to be welcomed and hospitable towards and shown love.

Turn injustice around, bring correction, make proclamations and model true praise and worship and transformative prayers of miracles and wonders that really host God’s glory here on earth as it is in heaven.

The illustration shows an army of transformed children of God awake and ready to welcome, host, reach out to and be the solution and resources the world is hungry for. The kingdom of heaven modelled here on earth and the light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;”. Psalm‬ ‭45‬:‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.” Haggai‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 696. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.””

We don’t need our circumstances to change to witness to others our hope and faith in the truth we believe in. We are not a product of our environment we shine in the midst of it whatever it looks like.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.”

Jesus fulfils all our needs and we can be strong in the power of that and demonstrate God wherever we are in our lives and the world.

The Holy Spirit will lead us if we trust Him and let Him lead.

When we are overwhelmed by God it displaces being overwhelmed by anything else that confronts us.

Our vision of Him fully occupies the space and we are saturated in His presence. Jesus takes centre stage always. Self centred is not the gospel message. Jesus centred is.

We deal with life from the inside out not the outside in.

The external giants are always smaller than the internal Christ.

“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

We have a responsibility to be consistent and to always prioritise God thus praising Him.

To be part of His purpose to fight for His people to rise up in truth and love.C.S.Lewis said ‘aim at  heaven we get earth thrown in, aim at earth and we will not get heaven.’
Our life is a momentary time with affliction. Eternity is blessed and affliction free.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,”

Times of crisis are a challenge and as church God desires us to be the life-line.

We have a wrong mindset of success being life without crisis in it and faith and church going will minimise crisis.

The reality is that in this world we will have trials

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.””

Jesus knows we are blind and have to be enlightened to this in our hearts by Him, to know the hope and inheritance that is before us.

“having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,”

We as the body cannot just be consumers of comfort and safety whilst we know there are many who do not have the knowledge that we have. We are essential workers not those shut down and deemed inessential.

If our hearts and existence do not always reflect the victory. Reflect that God has provided the success, it is not His fault. Jesus models victorious always, we need to pursue harder.

Both the double portions of anointing and blessings related in scripture in Job’s and Elisha’s lives were preceded by resistance and endurance and faithfulness. Valleys to be gone through.

Our theology is that death has been defeated. We may grieve for our losses but not without hope of the resurrection to a better eternal life.

We have to be open to the mystery of God and not be robbed by the lies of the enemy especially in times of crisis.

We cannot opt out of what we don’t want. We have to remain on point with our trust and hope in God. Connected to sound theology.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

The illustration shows the Spirit filled Christian enlightened and afire.

Totally overwhelmed by God displacing all that the world would displace.

Light emanating to push back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 695. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

God has placed eternity in our hearts and our appreciation of Him releases our well being and the accompanying endorphins. Our intimacy with God has effect on our whole being, spirit mind and body. We know a place of communication with Him that is prefect and good.

We are wired for a connection with the spirit realm. It is for what we can give also, not for only our benefit of receiving.

We are here to serve God. We belong to Him. We are set apart for Him. It is not all about the worship but the worshipper.

He enthrones Himself on our praises. Worshipping is a place of transformation, a place of the renewing of our mind.

God looks not for the sound we are making or even the words we are saying it is the personal bit that we are releasing as if putting our signature to that makes it specially from us.

Worship develops the worshipper to a fullness and an overflowing of love.

In the wilderness or the storm the song we birth in the worship is different and breaks through in different ways.

Fear and anxiety can be broken through in worship and it has weaponised us in our spiritual battle with the enemy. It brings deliverance and freedom.

God is big and above all other.
Songs can change cultures and atmospheres. We can sing what we can’t say and it be heard. It reaches places and goes through. Our breakthrough is everyone’s breakthrough.

The cost is everything we have until we have nothing left. God asks for our all in our praise but our singing to Him boosts us like nothing else can.

It externalises our internal world. What may start in misery ends in joy and love.
There is a shift, the vibration moves through us and synchronises our hearts to beat as one it is power filling. It is not about the quality of our voice it is about using our voice.

Where we are imprisoned we become liberated. His Glory will not sit on a slick set and performance but on what is raw. Worship brings the exodus out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light.

Heaven overwhelms darkness and principalities. Our sphere of freedom shows a way for others. We are not here for our own moment but for bringing others too.

We respond to worship in the spiritual realm and can see it in the physical and natural realm too. Sometimes we cannot say it only sing it. We delight the Father and scare the enemy.

Worship becomes our whole lives laid down and honouring Jesus as Lord and king.
We are like the sportsman who devotes all his life to pursuing and training for his game and then,on the day, there for one thing only.

To conquer and win.

The illustration shows praise and worship sacrificed to God like sonar bouncing back in the gold dust of His Glory. Light emanating to push back the darkness

One Scriptures that come to mind:

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 694. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the practices of Israel. Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand. And all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he had great riches and honour.”

The world is hungry for justice and righteousness in the chaos and turmoil it daily witnesses.

The world observes and reads us as Christians right now if we are carrying the kingdom Spirit in our lives because it is spiritually perceived as a light in the darkness.

While the world is increasingly fearful of lack and propelled into hoarding we  offer the words of generosity and provision that God promises and therefore bring hope and peace.

Our word is always better as it comes from the heart of God and is heard and recognised by the spirit within others and it uplifts.

Believing in God as our provider we know that as we pour out He will pour in.

He wants us to go out and be catapulted wide and far in communities where heaven and earth can agree and demonstrate the kingdom that will honour and bring Glory to Jesus the king.

Now is a time of releasing the brakes and going to establish the kingdom like the  disciples at Pentecost. On fire, proclaiming boldly, speaking out the gospel.

Evoke life, hope and challenge others into expansive knowledge of truth. What we carry is what everyone wants.

We can raise up expectation from poverty stricken, small minded survival mode.

We must not miss our moment of visitation by being passive. Small prayers, small expectations get small answers.

God’s desire is for us to thrive and flourish. It happens when we come together.

Two or three and I am in your midst.  Therefore pray dangerous prayers that He may stretch out His hand and manifest Himself dynamically.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.””

We have to take every opportunity for global praying in the big picture for nations knowing that big prayers answered will be answered in us also.

Jesus modelled and even prayed for the belief of those in the future not just the now.

““I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,”

God responds to prayer and moves. He pours out blessing when we are available and willing to be His conduit and outbreaks of power bring Spiritual riches and light.

The illustration shows our prayers as conduits for God to pour out His blessing into His kingdom and for us to emanate light that pushes back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the practices of Israel. Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand. And all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat, and he had great riches and honour.” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭17:4-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 693. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.”

We are too familiar with a God we hardly know. There is a deep hunger to know more of God intimately in the way He knows us.

He has first known and loved us.

God’s love for us from the beginning carries upon it His faithfulness to us and His promises.

“the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

He makes a covenant with His people in the OT which is summarised again in the NT. It is God’s desire that we shall all know Him intimately, relationally as a friend  and knowing in a way that only by loving we know.

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

It is profound that we cannot intimately love someone we do not know.

Therefore knowledge of someone precedes love. Deep knowledge of someone is a doorway into a Spirituality and the sense of oneness in love.

Intimate friends are those who trust one another and feel safe to declare, expose and share themselves. They remain together as more than fair weather friends.

Even Jesus as the man in time had followers but only twelve who stayed and knew Him as “ the Holy one of God “ and didn’t turn away.

“And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

It is not just cognitive knowing but an intimate  heart knowing.

This is our spiritual life of knowing. Jesus reveals to those who know Him what He does not reveal to others.

It is simple to know the Triune God, to commune and have His peace and joy. God has not made it complex or difficult the Holy Spirit guides us. It is us who make it difficult.

When Stephen summarised the OT, he first called God  The God of Glory.

‭‭God was uncreated. He has never changed or evolved He has always been the same and always will be. He is the God of Glory for ever. He has a mind and opinion and will of His own.

He cannot be changed by us nor does He want second opinions from us and yet He will encourage our co-labouring in His rule.

“And Stephen said: “Brothers and fathers, hear me. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,”

Our intimacy must in turn take us to reframe and see His majesty and awe and His Glory. So that we exhort and honour our God of Glory.

He wants our public declaration and shameless devotion so that His glory may fall upon us and be witness to the world.

“so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is no longer worship and ministry behind closed doors but out in the public domaine. Just as David unashamedly danced and sang in the streets regardless of his own respectability. Abandoned, bold love of He who we worship first.

The illustration shows intimate abandoned praise that acclaims our oneness in mind and heart with the one we love. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”Jeremiah‬ ‭31:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” Hebrews‬ ‭8:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 692. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“The Lord told Moses to get up early the next morning and say to the king: The Lord God of the Hebrews commands you to let his people go, so they can worship him!”

God desires our worship. God is a jealous God.

It is an interesting thought of what we are prepared to sacrifice in our worship.

Abraham was prepared to sacrifice all he had, as his son Isaac, on God’s request.

“Some years later God decided to test Abraham, so he spoke to him. Abraham answered, “Here I am, Lord.” The Lord said, “Go get Isaac, your only son, the one you dearly love! Take him to the land of Moriah, and I will show you a mountain where you must sacrifice him to me on the fires of an altar.””

In a season of scarcity how much do we offer. We discover that we hold on too tightly to somethings in our lives.

Daily we are challenged.

God asks for something that is precious to us. Like our time or something that we value as a measure of our success or the whole of us, a complete giving of ourselves to be set apart for Him.

Unless we dethrone other idols we may contaminate our worship with our ways and sense of entitlement and are not sacrificing.

It is not His will but ours.

We can especially be guilty of worshipping our preferred music instead of Him. That makes our worship more about us than Him.

Where is the sacrifice in our preference and comfort? God says follow me as He takes us to the edge that requires a new commitment.

The Spirit of God is moving and requires us to follow Him. Discover fresh revelation of His greatness and majesty above what we have become over familiar with.

We need to be extended to a new sound and place. Giving to Him transforms us. There is an exchange that takes place when our offering is from our heart for Him not ourselves. We get off our own throne and relocate.

God sometimes wants to pull us up by the roots with a firm grip removing us and we are wise not to resist. The Spirit has a more fertile place to plant us in but we rebel against the lost comfort.

Our trust is challenged. It is interesting for each of us to be made aware of what individually God is putting His finger upon.

Are we willing to sacrifice it for what He is doing?

We focus on His presence and hopefully are willing as Mary was to pour out our alabaster jar of expensive oil as our all to bless Him and keep no wealth for ourselves. He is all we desire.

We then, like her, would equally carry His fragrance away with us after our worship. Carrying it to others to set others free.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

Worship in the Spirit goes out from us to God but it is like sonar and bounces back and into us lifting us higher.

If our lifestyle is worship we can go deeper and higher to the place we can see Him and He restores on the crest of our praise.

The illustration shows the finger of God pointing out our individual thing of sacrifice and worship. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 691. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,”

We feel to be in a space where God is pausing while we as church take ownership of what He is asking and wanting us to do.

When church gets it right we will impact family, cultures and nations who have become fearful as they see everything around them failing and spiralling into crisis.

There is a requirement for parts of the building to be tied together to renovate what has or is falling apart.

The whole needs restoration to a beauty and purpose fullness that may be  updated and contemporary for modern lifestyle and living preferences but which still has the elements of period elegance.

We witness the principle, in the natural, in programs of designing new spaces in prebuilt homes.

Foundational the sand and cement basic structure cannot be separated because as the water has been added to the two parts it has become a changed strength on which to build.

In this age those components are needed to be the joint prophetic. Those who spiritually see and hear what is in Gods heart as He moves on.

Also the apostolic those with maturity and wisdom who take the word and see how it can be implemented into the solutions that are being discerned.

It is interesting to me that many of the wise apostles we knew and trusted like Colin Urquhart have now died and the rising new ones have much in common but we can observe they already have a different angle as they come out of the shadows of the  old ones ready for this new phase.

We experience an in-between time a pause to reframe.

God is raising a body with answers and power, to turn around difficult times and self motivated deluded people and systems, that the world will recognise and look towards.

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”

Correction, righteousness and purity is the only antidote to what has escalated. That which has been got away with but is foolishness in the past,  will not be rewarded with success in the present.

“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

Whilst we celebrate those we have known to be successful in ministry in the past we see it has changed for our next generation where their dynamics will come from the power and strength of  relationships, collaborative and unified strength the pause is to establish what has previously not been modelled.

To not move forward, however, would be to get stuck and become powerless instead of powerful.

One horse power pulling a plough had success for its function in its time but two horses pulling have more than twice the power it is as if there were three  and experiments show that the more familiar multiple horses get with each other it ramps up to even more power as they protect and cover each others weaknesses and cash in on each other’s strengths.

The model example of the shared relationship and function of all the parts of the body operating as one and not in competition for importance.

Defence and offence has no place.

Nor where correction is read as rejection instead of an advantageous tying together.

Relationship is required to allow each strength to flourish and bounce off and complement each other to get closer to the truth of ultimately all being one together.

Shepherd, teacher, evangelist, prophet and apostle.

The illustration shows us standing as pillars and boulders together strengthened by each other to form a powerful body emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 690 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.”

God honours honour being given within the body one to another as being the default setting we operate from.

There seems to be a louder voice of discord, of aggressive criticism arising than the sweet sound of worship in our body. It brings with it offence, hurt and rejection  which has a foul aroma instead of sweet. We have become wise to criticism from unbelievers and the world and have assurance of being blessed when we stand firm and fast in this persecution. The enemy in this age is particularly taking advantage of the attack of offence.

“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.”

In Christ we are a new creation and are to be viewed as God would see us in the spirit. Accessed by His way of thinking we are honoured.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
If we are feeling any lack of safety or sense of belonging we are experiencing an outcome of not knowing what or whom we can put our trust in any more. A feeling of disconnection and scattering.

“Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me,” declares the Lord of hosts. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.”

Those who are vulnerable and our younger generation especially are under attack of feeling unsafe as this insidious attack of lack of honour in their culture takes hold.

Blame giving, criticism, fault accusing,  lack of trust, dishonouring,  pulling down   As seeds sown reap a harvest of disappointment, dissatisfaction,  fear and withdrawal.

We have the solution to sow the seeds on the earth of respect, wisdom, faith, building up, empowering, righteous role modelling, honouring, to reap a harvest of hope, security, well-being and corporate compassion.

Even Jesus was disempowered by dishonouring and there were no miracles as a result.  God can’t or won’t work in a culture where we do not prefer one another or where we sow poison. Where people feel undermined they shut down,  the Holy Spirit does not flow.

“And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.””

Some ways can be healed, some be given grace for another try but dishonouring must be cut out, separated from and removed.

It is sobering to ask God if we personally have been tolerant of unrighteousness and unknowingly part of the problem and not the solution.

“The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

We will all find occasions where we have not honoured God or mirrored Christ as we should have all the time.

The illustration shows our tongue needing to be honouring as it speaks out our heart that must reflect God and Christ in our midst to emanate light that pushes back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

“From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 689 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

To shut the door not only implies privacy but also no distractions.

A place big enough for just you and God alone to abide in. The intimate place where nothing is hidden from, only shared. A place to commune together.

We as the bride are aware that what was permissible in the past but which left stains upon us is no longer.

There is a renewed sense not only of purity but also of being ready and prepared as were the wise virgins filling their lamps with more oil.

We too increasing our capacity to overflowing in the Holy Spirit.

“but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.”

Those able to see as the darkness increases are those who do not fall away and betray being part of the believing body.

“And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.”

As the darkness increases the Lord upon us enables us to arise and shine and be seen as the beacons to encourage others to follow.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”

True purity comes with intimacy. Our prayer and communion time refines us.

The refining to pure gold provides the Teflon that sin will not stick to nor the enemies magnet that will attract fools gold and imperfection to it like Velcro.

To know God and Jesus intimately is the eternal path.

“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”

Our house has to be a house of prayer where we know the voice of God and where we witness His Spirit. Where we ‘just know’. Where we have access to His gifts. Where we increasingly become more sensitive to His presence and ways.

To pray in tongues is a prayer gift that accesses spiritual sensitivity and power. Praying in tongues accesses God’s mind.

No man is greater than his prayer life. If we fail here we fail everywhere.

We must jealously guard time spent with God and not brush it aside in our business. First seeking Him is where we find our strength, peace and joy. Our wisdom, knowledge and discerning.

Jesus is the place where miracles are possible.

The illustration shows hands in prayer emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
