BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 675 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Lord, my heart is meek before you. I don’t consider myself better than others. I’m content to not pursue matters that are over my head— such as your complex mysteries and wonders— that I’m not yet ready to understand. I am humbled and quieted in your presence. Like a contented child who rests on its mother’s lap, I’m your resting child and my soul is content in you. O people of God, your time has come to quietly trust, waiting upon the Lord now and forever.”

Our provision at any time, especially times when we feel loss or times when we feel we do not know what to do, is to just know Him.

When we know contentment in resting in Him, He can breathe more revelation into us and expand our knowledge and understanding to support us.

The Lord will fight our battles and do all things and therefore we will, knowing this, have more peace. We have a zealous Lord who will do this.

“Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”

He has called us to our own responsibilities and that is where we must remain faithful. Know our own business and deal with it without standing on the sidelines speculating on what is in God’s domain or anyone else’s.

“Indeed, your love is what you’re known for throughout Macedonia. We urge you, beloved ones, to let this unselfish love increase and flow through you more and more. Aspire to lead a calm and peaceful life as you mind your own business and earn your living, just as we’ve taught you. By doing this you will live an honorable life, influencing others and commanding respect of even the unbelievers. Then you’ll be in need of nothing and not dependent upon others.”

We have only to uphold one another.

We can stand up in pain together supporting each other.

We can take the pressure off each other as we share in the mystery and have fragments of the big picture revealed to each of us.

We have the privilege to serve others in their pain.

We can pray for the lack in each other as it is revealed to us and God will honour those prayers in the love that they were offered in and bless us even more abundantly.

“And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

One person’s loss or one generation’s loss or one nation’s loss can be another’s gain when it is used to support and uphold and not to divide and fragment.

“then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.”

There is a sense that in this time of change we have to let go of what has been and pick up the new to move into what God’s intention is for us.   To expand prosper and glean us into His kingdom. His Spirit must fall on all people that He might be revealed to all.

There will be no decrease but increase.

“‘This is what I will do in the last days —I will pour out my Spirit on everybody and cause your sons and daughters to prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will experience dreams from God. The Holy Spirit will come upon all my servants, men and women alike, and they will prophesy.”

The illustration shows the big picture of hope that God sees from beginning to end of. Each of us are the pieces that support and complete one another and have our responsibility to create. In so doing we emanate the light and power that pushes back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 674 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory!”

Use this time to stand taller not to become smaller. We have the truth and hope to proclaim. God’s people are identified as the living gates and doorways.

When God opens the doorway to eternity and His kingdom no one or no circumstance can close them.

“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. ‘’

The victory of Jesus anchors us. We are conquers. We are secure in the future.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

As seasons eras and rulers come and go Jesus is the constant one ruling from the throne. Those searching must hear the powerful name of Jesus.

He is the true one who holds all authority.

We are not bystanders of pomp and ceremony we stand with Him in the gap and increase in size not diminish. We intercede for righteousness in our leaders and governments as the King of Glory is heralded.

As our monarchy changes so does its power.

Our Queen ruled seventy years standing in a gap of righteousness in legislation and with a faith and prayer life strengthened by a prayer closet and knowing God.

That blessing and anointing changes from what it has been.

We are preparing now for the return of King Jesus ruling from within our hearts

As we lift our heads to Him and soon to the world.

‘’Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.’’

Sons of God are revealed who will lift their heads and stand tall in battle to set creation free from bondage and corruption. The harvest multiplies.

“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”

The illustration shows us lifting our heads and standing tall to proclaim hope to the world in its darkness. The light emanating to push back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 673. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.”

God is obsessed  to entirely have us and abide in us but He cannot dwell in what is not of Him.

He has to assess in us what we have already chosen and therefore make right what we are still oblivious to.

We may have walked a life devoted to Him but of not being fully developed by Him.

Our throne may have Him present because of His grace but He may not dwell in that throne.

In measuring, weighing and assessing us He may be shaking and shedding so that what He has and possesses is pure.  Excess we have gathered along the way playing out as poor attitudes, offence taking grudges, prideful conceits need stripping.

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away‘’

We have a tendency to think we are there and ok but He knows where we aren’t and where there is more. Surrendering and realising what is of worth is from Him not us.

‘’and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.’’

Knowing Christ is a relationship of love and a narrow better way but the reality is that there is pain in the journey too.

Jesus modelled the sweating blood and tears in Gethsemane. The silent humiliation of the accusation and cross. The loss of all earthly wealth.

Sometimes our instincts have been right but our actions wrong as Peter displayed at the transfiguration.

We do as we have become by our experience and have no concept of what God’s new growth may entail. We miss the new if we don’t submit to His creativity which takes us beyond our experience and what we know.

Words that tether us to ‘’well it’s our tradition to …..‘’ don’t make room for a new birth and all it’s potential.

We may progress in opposition to God’s will because we are too busy sticking to our will being done.  God does not want us to remain trapped and tethered.

Sometimes standing on our forebearer’s shoulders and honouring them has us stuck.

When we root our identity in something other than God we can become tethered in it. Traditions can nullify the power of God.

We must not create God in our image it is always listening to The Holy Spirit and allowing ourselves to move and be identified in His image.

Wait upon and make space for Him to be present and act creatively beyond our blind spots.

The illustration shows Christ as the branch with fruit, on the branches that are abiding in Him, emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

One Scriptures that come to mind:

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.” John‬ ‭15:2-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 672. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Our culture habit of self serving consumerism doesn’t lend itself to the giving of our whole self spontaneously.

Spontaneity is something we cannot practice. It is a child like celebratory, excited response that comes totally from within.

There is something impossible about asking an exuberant, excited child to stand impassively, unresponsive to something they see feel or hear before them that excites them.

As should it be with us when we focus on the presence of the Lord before and within us.

It is impossible to stand still unfazed we have to move in our hearts and worship with our body as well as mouths.

Standing absolutely stilled and silenced is a response that signifies total awe and wonder but it is not an empty space of nothingness it is electrifyingly full of an awareness of presence and is dynamic.

God has contrasting natures and we need opportunities to be exposed to and to experience all in His vastness.

Time, space and opportunity are so important to having the freedom to respond and receive and time to perceive.

Being containerised by our traditions can suck out that freedom of air and Spirit to be present in the moment and we miss the encounter.

How often do we say ‘’Come Holy Spirit ‘’ and then not wait upon?

Allowing us to feel His presence, albeit we know Him to be there always anyway.

We rob ourselves of precious certainty of His closeness.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.””

Corporate worship offers us time to encounter God in a dynamic that reforms us.

We need rhythms in our life, times and places and patterns but not rigidity.

We need the freedom to get into the place of presence and recognise it.

Just like being at a disco there are some who immediately jump in, uninhibited, to the empty space and dance whilst others are slower to warm up but once up and participating the freer and fuller the recognition of the joy is present.

The enemy attack tries to diminish the value of that space and presence.

God seeks to penetrate without interruption.

God says ‘’where are you? ‘’ knowing full well where we are but wanting us to locate ourselves to Him and His presence and not remain hidden.

“But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?””

Disruption and interruptions distance us and God needs to see us open and worshipping, engaged with Him and pursuing Him.

It matters that our families and children see us worshipping and engaging for how else are they going to know the significance and importance of who we put first in our lives?  How else will they grow the desire to seek and taste themselves?

Our Sunday gathering is not just for consuming pleasure from a platform of performance and teaching it is for making a point of contact and encounter with Him.

Everything hinges around this climax, for each one of us, of encountering God.

Failure to reach that place is a let down where we complain about the distractions of failures and irritations of what has or hasn’t been to our taste.

Reaching that place of proximity in encountering spontaneously brings the child like celebration and joy and desire for more that is ‘’pleasing to the Father.’’

It attaches each one of us to the connection of us, the Holy Spirit and God and gives us reason to celebrate.

Like the child with the prize of joy and wonder of a balloon.

The illustration shows us like children exuberantly responding to God’s presence. In awe and electric expectation and wonder of the Holy Spirit moving. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 671. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

We are in a season where we sense an urgency for there being need of a strength that comes from more unity of heart. This comes only from the humility of preferring the other above the self in our attitude of love.

‘’Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.“

This is representative of the humility that Christ had to become man in obedience to even His death exhibiting His great love for the other above Himself.

By welding ourselves together we become a new creation stronger than the individual parts we are made of. We lay down our own agenda.

That of God and others we honour greater than our own because we

“prefer one another.”

“the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

In the story of Naomi and Ruth there is evidence of an anointing and blessing being on the relationship formed that bridges differences in culture, status, tradition and any other divisions and conflicts.

Making a fusion that goes closer and deeper and becomes inseparable.

It births a new and different relationship. One where we put down our desire to be right or be offended by others.

Jesus had every right to be offended by the accusations and treatment on His journey to the Cross but He modelled humiliation in silence.

“Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens not his mouth.”

We can create disunity by being critical of one another instead of hanging in through thick and thin we move on and weaken the body by giving the enemy access rights instead of guarding one another. There has to be honour and covenant retained to be pleasing to God. Our offence shows also our lack of faith and becomes a barrier to God’s presence. A scattering

““Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands next to me,” declares the Lord of hosts. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.”

His mercy is such that He has remained to meet us even when He had been repelled by our ways and actions.

We sense now that He is seeking for us to see clearly.

To leave the communion table, where we are offering our bodies as a living sacrifice, to put right with our brother first.

Then with one pure heart return to share our communion.

“But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

We have to be those unified enough to prefer the other above ourselves and God is refining that purity which starts with a humility.

In His mercy it is what keeps us inside the camp and not on the outside.

“In the whole land, declares the Lord, two thirds shall be cut off and perish, and one third shall be left alive. And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

God is good in what He reveals in exactly the right timing.

The illustration shows us welded together in heart and Spirit to be united , bonded in strength in equal worth and significance. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 670. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

John the Baptist was the first to know and acknowledge the importance of the presence of Jesus and to know his part in proclaiming Him.

There is a sense that now is the time for us to rise up and proclaim boldly, relentlessly, passionately in the same way and not tolerate any more what the enemy has infiltrated into the world as counterfeit worth and dependency upon.

John the Baptist was not prepared to tolerate people not knowing their need for action.

The need to be repentant and be washed clean of sin by baptism and to be reborn to the purity and single mindedness of faith in God.

He single handed and single minded was like a warrior paving a way for Christ to come.

He was not lukewarm in his mission but red hot in his passion and unstoppable until his purpose was fulfilled as Jesus arrived to be baptised and proclaimed by God as His Son.

“Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”

Referring to us being more powerful than John the Baptist, are those now to, in the same focused warrior like mode, say enough is enough of the enemies drip by drip attempts to bury God, Christ and faith out of sight in the world by the stealth of sin.

We make the choice and speak out. In our mouths we carry life and death. That which we tolerate we by default give quiet agreement to. Jesus came to destroy death and by His blood on the cross He did.

We have allowed it to creep in and strangle and choke the world again if we have given in. Or if we have been Luke warm. The sort of church God would vomit out of His mouth.

“So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. “

The empire and the kingdom clash. If we allow sin, corruption and death to rob and paralyse us we diminish.

Jesus came to bring life in abundance.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

We are overcomers. When we see others as more than ourselves and we push back for the sake of others with John the Baptist tenacity.

Seeing beyond ourselves has implications corporately. We all get set free. We are liberated from a wasteland of fear. A Spirit that is asleep.

Perfect love overcomes fear. People are moved from fear to faith. From futility to fruitfulness.

We reverse the curse. Turn the wasteland to fruitful when we take every thought captive with the mind of Christ.

Solutions are God’s solutions not our own. God creates a perfect storm for us to spend the currency of our favour. Trust and faith in Him.

When we magnify God He can put His favour upon us and break the chains and strongholds of fear.

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

We know how to think and therefore how to act.

The illustration shows the being baptised in the Holy Spirit and born again out of the sink hole of spiralling sin in the world. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” Matthew‬ ‭11:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.” Revelation‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 669. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. And I will give him the morning star.”

The sense of being peeled and exposed ready for our fruit to be consumed and used is a very real one in the moment.

We are under the wine press of Jesus and therefore can have a confidence that we are on a consuming journey.

He is the consuming fire.

It is sometimes necessary to burn what was past so that instead of looking back and hanging on we let go and fully move forward into the new which ultimately is always better.

It nevertheless can be a lonely, exhausting place because what we thought we knew and positioned our bearings by is no longer there.

There is a grieving loss of a season and of ourselves.

New identities and anointing are coming although we feel challenged on every front.

It is when we no longer know what to do to move forward that we are most likely to yield and become malleable to be fashioned anew.

It is a divine, purposeful disorientation that hopefully we will find peace from when we recognise it and allow Him to be our compass.

Though step by step it may feel like walking through fire we are being refined as we proceed. As such we are equipped to mirror image Him.

We are used to looking for immediate gratification and reward whereas in the kingdom Reward is in Christ in eternity.

“The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”

We have to be tested to be overcomers. There will be a level of pain and suffering, but this is temporary.

This is why we need an eternal mindset not a temporal. There can still be a joy in thee narrow way and not having all the answers.

God is more invested in our journey than the destination. Maybe loss is part of the success of tomorrow.

God sets us up to depend on Him. We can be imprisoned and disappointed by expectation.

Failure is a gift to then know success. Even the good failing leads onto a path to get great and not settle for the lesser.

In hindsight we may give our biggest thanks for our biggest disappointments.

God is a consuming fire. Burning is destructive but necessary for new to be given.

The illustration shows us as the fruit peeled and being pressed making the new wine. Going through the refiners fire and light emanating to push back the darkness.

Two Scriptures that come to mind :

“The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”Revelation‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 668 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.””

Great shaking precedes great awakening.

In the natural what doesn’t look like good news and is getting magnified into fear and escalation of the enemies wiles can be made to flee by magnifying the Lord and this flips the enemies plans.

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together! I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”

We are citizens of the kingdom of God which by far surpasses that of the world. Jesus comes to give us a sound mind, peace hope and life.

There is no force that can overturn what Christ intends.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”

We daily pray “Your kingdom come” He daily upholds that and therefore we can be encourage.

Even though there seems discomfort and punishment in the shaking we realise it is strategic and indicative of love and awakening to a life in its fullness.

We make our lives like a sail that catches the wind of the Spirit and goes with it in His direction and time.

God delights in divine surprises that we have a choice to be part of or not. Choosing to yield.

“For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”

‭‭All the promises of God are Yes and Amen through Christ.

The Amen is spoken aloud by us too.

Yes is now hovering over us, over the chaos and the void.

What God gives is sovereign but we have the opportunity to act upon it as our responsibility.

We have to be obedient to partner with the Holy Spirit.

That sets the promise in motion and direction we navigate together.

We are not onlookers but participants.

We come before Him kneeling, asking and showing ourselves faithful in stewarding what He gives us.

The illustration shows us kneeling expectant of giving our Amen to Jesus’ yes our Spiritual sail set to catch the wind of the Holy Spirit for direction and timing. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.””Hebrews‬ ‭12:26‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 667 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.”

We all hear from God but only really recognise it as we become more in tune with our Spirit. God’s voice is tucked inside our instincts.

It is with the development of our intuition and discernment that we begin identifying this.

“these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

God speaks through patterns,  numbers the moments in life where we have known what we want to do;  the journey it has taken and how in retrospect we see where we have been lead or directed in our choices and it has been absolutely right.

“The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.”

We develop a relationship where we see what He has initiated and the minute  detail He is in as well as the big picture.

We have to know and walk with Him and encountering Him becomes a priority.

He takes us where we would maybe never have gone had we not forged some relationships with Him.

Hidden divine perspective unfolds  when we are working all things together. .

“Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.”

What we do as a performance lacks authenticity.

The priority in my life is to know God and to go His way.

As we go we are healed, as we look forward  while He stirs the waters.

We have to release the extra baggage and not be tempted to hang onto it for any reason.

A journey of submission.

We cannot sit by when the presence of Jesus is in the room. In your chest. He demands our attention and that of others. He has already been sent and our Prayer is not to come but to be enabled to walk with.

You cannot walk through the narrow way carrying the crossbeam.

Christ’s burden is light and easy. We have to let go and stop trying to fix everything. Let go and let God take over.

We think we have come to know so much and we have not even started yet.

God does not bless us because we have reached a place of deserving blessing. Regardless He turns up sovereignly and steps into His plan and purpose.

The illustration shows that in our close walk with Christ the Holy Spirit reveals and guides us in revelation of the divine. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 666 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.”

We have to link arms because we so need one another. To prefer the other as we see in them something we need because it is lacking in us and they honouring what they see in us that is their need.

There is a requirement and responsibility in all of us to honour one another above ourselves.

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

This is counter cultural where there is striving to outdo, be best, be easily offended, always the one in the right and never the one who is wrong.

It is not so much about my destiny but the destiny in me for others.

Our identity is in being who God created me to be but that is equally the case for everyone around me who are also made in God’s image and with a purpose and destiny.

To honour each is to give them  weight and value no matter what.

Seeing others as Christ sees them is seeing their best and honours that foremost in them.

Even Jesus in His life encountered being dishonoured in His own town resulting in Him moving on as it left nothing much for Him to give.

“And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour except in his hometown and in his own household.””

There is no expectancy of miracles where there is no honour shown. Where there is honour the Holy Spirit flows. How we treat is how we receive. Life is limited where there is no honour.

Honour is not something demanded it is freely given.

Modern culture exhibits where there is a wrestle in homes and establishments for a respect and honouring of authority.

Some of us may even look like we are honouring but we are inwardly rolling our eyes up in our spirit.

Nothing goes unseen and it shuts anointing down. Shuts us off from receiving what is in others that we need. There is no miraculous.

Our dishonouring quells the Holy Spirit. What we think matters. It releases the hand of God. It becomes our break through.

““Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.”

Dishonour, is contagious, it soon infects everyone in the camp. Our honouring others enables us to host the Holy Spirit. We become hosts for something much bigger. Jesus in the room.

He is not in the third person He is in the present in His presence.

He pours wine into every clay pot present and together we become the dwelling place to have impact. As we pour out to fill another so another pours out to fill us.

It’s not about me it is about all.

We are the new wine in the new season Christ’s ministry commenced with the water to wine miracle at the wedding feast in Cana.

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”

Honour brings mighty works. We have to love well for others to see love not eye rolls. We each need a part of each other.

The illustration shows vessels standing together each honoured as of value to the other in the new wine that they hold. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 665 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”

Church feeling powerless. Akin to surfers attempting to ride the surf on no waves.  The turning tables has to be completed before the time is ready to spread the new table cloths.

It is as if God wants us back in shallows but trusting before He sends the wave that either knocks us out or empowers us to surf.

The wave will challenge us and shock the unfamiliar.

The man made in the sense of self and corruption in the world gets destroyed structures of God survive love for the Holy Spirit and other above self.

The kingdom of God is coming .

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.”

Those led by the world are fearful of what has been perpetual shaking over the past 3 years. Those led by the Spirit recognise God in it too  and have expectancy. Tables turned over by Jesus historically in the temples of corruption are in our hearts where we are now the temples of His dwelling. We await the time of His promise to be fulfilled but equally need to be cleansed and made ready.

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

As waves hit in energy crisis and shortages that escalate fear and hopelessness there has to be the Josephs arising who foresee and prepare. Who have the solutions, know peace and can arise with power to break every chain of bondage.

As Jesus delivered and cast out spirits of greed and mammon in the temple. God now has plans for the church and His body to break fear and bondage.

We have the power of love and being of Sound mind.

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

The spirit of fear we sense in the atmosphere of the world comes from Satan.

We need not own it as fear and anxiety cannot co-work with the Holy Spirit.

It is time now to trust and be guided.

Time to open our eyes as the earthquake tectonic plates have shifted and see the spiritual changes in the landscape because this determines how we newly build.

“See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.”

Jesus knows how to build His successful church.

A movement with power not a safe institution and monument of past glory.

Not built faithful to man and people pleasing. Responding to panic and what we see in the moment.

Built instead faithful to God pleading to Him. Responding to His revelation and what is faithful to His promise

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”

Organisation must never trump fixing our eyes upon Jesus. Our freedom is not just floating about it is in rebuilding and prioritising what Jesus is reforming, renewing, reshaping, reconstituting.

He changes our hearts first. He always has a plan for His church where it starts with a change in each one of us. Where we say start with me instead of finger pointing to criticise flaws.

Planks out, the epidemic of planks in eyes.

It takes faith to see the good in what God is doing.

We have to see beyond ourselves in our desires for other’s breakthrough we have our own. God’s plan is bigger than me. Our generosity and love for others is the giant wave coming to crash over and lift us all up to ride the surf.

The illustration shows the surfer trusting to ride the wave of the Spirit of God’s making. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Six Scriptures that come to mind:

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 664 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations, so that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.”

‭‭ “At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”

Shaking is the precursor to Glory.

When God shakes heaven He releases something that we have not already got.

A new level and weight and more of God.

Shaking is also painful as it exposes issues, flaws to be dealt with that promote a greater liberation, purity and liberation.

Often going through a crisis shifts our reluctance to accept our denial. We confront our questions our new position.

The wrestling is necessary for the belief and security of what we settle into.

It strengthens and makes us more robust.

We could be accused of making it all about us when God now wants it to be more about us corporately.

“Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the Lord. You looked for much, and behold, it came to little. And when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? declares the Lord of hosts. Because of my house that lies in ruins, while each of you busies himself with his own house.”

Our eyes are being shifted up from self to God to expose the needs of His body.

If we become like the world and fearful instead of trusting it logically could delay and push away His next revelation. Wasting time like the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years.

By facing what He exposes we qualify for increase.

We pick up on the sense that there are more questions than answers and that is so because every level of revelation brings up to the surface more of what God wants to expose and deal with.

He disciplines those He loves. It is an act of His love not to leave us where we are depleted but full as an outcome.

We are being drawn back into seeing beyond ourselves. What we do to liberate others liberates us too. We have to go, to sow, to give.

Only from that do we reap.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”

We must not tolerate what Jesus came to destroy.

“For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.”

The illustration shows the more questions that come with revelations where we see beyond ourselves and light emanates to push back the darkness.

Five Scriptures that come to mind:

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 663 . ( Less is Greater, Greater is less)

“And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.”

Social media and the media has a foundation of arousing fear. Don’t open the door to allow fear access.

“And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.”

We ask for the blessing for us and our children to be fear free. We know of a greater truth. We can be guarded on our decision making and bold in our response. We do not orchestrate our future or distrust God with it.

Fear has to be cast out or we find the very thing we feared comes to be as in Job it has been empowered in our speaking it out.

“For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.”

We may need to renounce fear, bind it and cast it out to be delivered of it. As a demon or strongman it comes in by our agreement and has equally to go out by our agreement.

God will replace it with peace and love and our joy can return.  God is love.

“Perfect love casts out Fear “

There is a divine exchange when we let go of fear we take hold of God.

As church we can model freedom, something wild and fear free without boundaries. God’s drive is pure enabling us to be fear free whatever the crisis.

We embrace God’s love put trust and faith in Him and He turns up as we loose control.

In the world right now there seems to be chaos, confusion and grief in everything we look to.

God is not a God of confusion but of order.

Conversely the bible mentions a sea creature looking spirit who is exactly that called Leviathan or Rahab, found in the midst of storms of many types.

“Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook or press down his tongue with a cord?”

‭‭ “Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in days of old, the generations of long ago. Was it not you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the dragon?”

A strongman spirit of pride, arrogance chaos, confusion and grief can certainly be seen at work throughout history and prevalently now.

God can move this aside as He did parting the seas and quietening the storm in the OT and NT.

God wants always to make a clear way, enable transition and take the way of advantage.   He moves swirling waters and chaos out of the way for the redeemed to cross over  and to see with clarity

Leviathan can be trampled under foot and subdued.

God’s revelation is that there will ultimately be no more sea. Meaning no more storms or tribulations.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”

There are two kingdoms and spiritual warfare between light and dark. “We wrestle not with flesh and blood “

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Our resistant mindset is believing Jesus has all authority over evil.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

We can speak order over our mind and have the mind of Christ and not be shut down to the living breathe of the Holy Spirit by the tight scales of Leviathan.

“His back is made of rows of shields, shut up closely as with a seal. One is so near to another that no air can come between them.”

The illustration shows the living breath of the Holy Spirit order breaking down Leviathan’s chaos storms of fear. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.
